There are different attractions for children and young people aged 2–16 in the park.The selection of the attractions was done on the basis that they should offer a lot of activities which are rich in fantasy, demand physical dexterity, and develop physical abilities. The selected toys and constructions are of durable materials and have a modern design.There is a basketball court with two backboards, and two learning tracks for cycling. Additionally, there are some picnic tables and benches so that parents are comfortable while waiting for their children, or they can even organise a picnic.

Mesi Tare Holiday Home is a cozy place to stay in Varnja, on the shores of Lake Peipsi. Mesi Tare offers the opportunity to relax and experience life in a genuine Old Believer house, just as it has been lived in for about a hundred years, in peace and quiet on the shores of Lake Peipsi. We rent out the entire house at once. The rooms are simple and comfortable. Guests can use the ground floor of the house with a kitchenette, a fireplace room (ideal for organizing seminars and work meetings), and a Finnish sauna. The second floor of the house features a large family room, while the terrace and yard are sure to delight children. You can walk along Lake Peipsi and enjoy the sounds of nature! In the collection garden, you can admire 50 different varieties of park roses by Rein Joost, lilies of Mart Heering, about 30 varieties of lilacs by Adolf Vaigla, and 20 varieties of vines by Jaan Kivistik.There are more than 600 different species of trees and shrubs throughout the park and the school (dendrological plant material), with herbaceous plants that include perennials, roses, lianas, natural herbaceous plants, and summer plants – a total of almost 1,200 plants.It is possible to book excursions both in the park and in the collection garden.

Discs can be borrowed free of charge from Alatskivi Castle's reception desk during the castle's opening hours, provided an identity document is presented.
