Kogo Gallery is an internationally operating contemporary art gallery located in Tartu's Aparaaditehas. The gallery focuses on a younger generation of artists and supports their international visibility by introducing their work to a wider audience. Kogo's mission is to foster free creation, interdisciplinary thinking, imagination, and novel ideas, and to initiate and maintain creative relationships by bringing together creative individuals and art enthusiasts. The gallery's diverse exhibition program features both solo projects by artists and curator-created exhibitions. In addition to exhibitions, Kogo organizes a variety of public programs at the gallery. The gallery also involves experts from different fields in its activities to develop dialogue on important societal issues. Kogo Gallery offers visitors numerous art experiences, including exhibitions and art sales, art rental for special events, gallery tours for groups, gallery space rental for special events, and curating and advising art collectors.

The 24 h raft hike a versatile adventure, which is suitable for both company events and gatherings of friends.The raft hike begins and ends at the Kavastu village harbour, next to the Kavastu ferry. After a light meal and raft training, the adventure begins. On rafts, we take an 18–24 km journey until reaching the raft house on the River Kalli, where you will have dinner and can enjoy a sauna to gather energy for the return trip the following morning. The tour ends at Kavastu harbour.

Anna Haava (1864–1957) was an Estonian poet, librettist, and translator who was born on Haavakivi Farm in Pala Parish, Tartu County.The memorial room located in the Kodavere Heritage Centre exhibits photographs of the poet and her relatives, along with a family tree, poetry collections and translations, memorabilia, parts of Anna Haava's correspondence, copies of documents, and a model of Haavakivi Farm.

The KGB Cells Museum, known as the "Grey House", is a historical museum in Tartu, where the NKVD/KGB was located in the 1940s and 1950s. The basement of the building, where the cells were located, is open to visitors. Several cells, the punishment cells, and the basement corridor have been restored to their historical form. The prison cells are filled with an exhibition that provides an overview of Estonia's post-war struggle for freedom and the crimes of the communist regime. Here you can see photographs and objects from Siberian prison camps, as well as materials on the history of the Forest Brotherhood and secret resistance organizations. The Kodavere Heritage Center in Tartu County breathes new life into the historical Pala Town Hall, which has been the heart of the local community for years. The center showcases the rich cultural heritage of the Peipsi region and is a place where old stories, languages, and traditions are revitalized. Visitors can gain a comprehensive overview of the history of Kodavere parish municipalities and town halls, and view the intriguing photo exhibition "People of Kodavere Parish in Oskar Tõrva's Glass Negatives," which reveals the everyday and festive life of rural areas a century ago. Additionally, they can admire the handicraft exhibition "Kodavere Kupuliud," highlighting the skills of local craftsmen and folk aesthetics. A separate display is dedicated to the Kodavere dialect, an essential part of the region's identity. The center also features a memorial room for poet Anna Haava and an exhibit "Song Festivals in Pala 100 Years Ago." Guided tours and heritage culture workshops are offered by reservation, suitable for both school groups and adults.

The Medieval Theme Park and Pilgrim House at Vastseliina Episcopal Castle is a unique destination in South Estonia, offering visitors the opportunity to immerse themselves in the medieval world.
