Our hostess takes guests on a walk to an authentic vineyard, shows them the production rooms, and explains how high-quality Estonian handcrafted wine is made in the wine cellar. At the end of the tour, we offer Murimäe wines for tasting, and those interested can purchase wine to take home.The visit takes place both outdoors and indoors and lasts 1.5-2 hours. Available by pre-order, even daily.You can also come with a group just to taste our wines. We organize various training courses and adventurous team activities, and you can also stay overnight. In summer, a café operates in Murimäe, and several special events with exciting performers, good food, and, of course, Murimäe wines take place. The hiking trail on the Luhasoo landscape protection area is a 5 km long loop, partially covered with a boardwalk. In the center of the trail, there is a small forest hut on a bog island for overnight stays. Hiking in the flat terrain of Luhasoo offers a contrast to the otherwise hilly nature of Võrumaa. The peace and quiet of the bog help nerves to relax from city noise and daily activities. The boardwalk-covered part is easy to traverse even with children. It is possible to take breaks along the way. Luhasoo bog is known for its dark-water pools and moss fields shimmering between them. As you move along the trail, picturesque views of the bog lake and surrounding transition bog landscape unfold — it's an ideal place to breathe in clean air, take a break, and recharge naturally. The hike offers both visual diversity and an opportunity to truly escape the noise of everyday life. Good to know: firewood needed for the forest hut should be taken from the shelter at the start of the boardwalk. The forest hut is available for free use.

At our small but authentic Kolkja Fish and Onion Restaurant, we offer genuine Old Believer dishes from the Peipsi region, prepared with freshly caught lake fish and locally grown, world-famous Peipsi onions. The dishes are based on traditional recipes passed down through generations, reflecting the unique culinary culture of the Peipsi lakeshore area. The menu features smoked fish, richly flavored fish soup, hearty onion soup, juicy fish patties, and a variety of desserts, including traditional Old Believer pies. The culinary experience is crowned with a traditional samovar tea, which is best enjoyed slowly in good company. The restaurant is located on the Onion Route (Sibulatee), and our cozy setting is perfect for families, friends, and travel groups alike. For groups, we offer the opportunity to arrange storytelling by the restaurant’s hostess about local life and Old Believer customs, as well as readings from old books, making the visit unique and memorable.

Pühaste Kelder, located in the heart of Tartu, is the representative bar of Pühaste Brewery. Here, the freshest IPAs are less than 24 hours old. We also offer experimental beers and if you do not find something from this selection, you can choose from 21 tap beers. The beginning of the story of Pühaste Brewery dates back to 2011 when Eero Mander first began making beer. He received positive feedback from a wide circle of beer lovers. The factory was opened in 2016 and the representative bar in 2018.

What does life really look like in the Old Believers' villages by Lake Peipus? This question is answered by Mesi Tare's host, Marko, who takes guests on a walking tour through the historic village of Varnja. This is not a regular excursion but a personal, direct experience in which the village, its people, and their stories unfold through the eyes of a local resident. Marko has been connected to Peipsiveere all his life, and his stories are based on real experiences. He has worked as a border guard, been a fisherman and boat captain, and today he operates as a tourism entrepreneur. During the tour, Marko discusses the customs, architecture, and lifestyle of the Old Believers, as well as the importance of Lake Peipus for the local community. Walking tours are arranged by prior reservation and tailored to visitors' interests and schedules. In addition to Varnja village, you can explore Kolkja village and Kallaste town, each with its own character and story. If desired, the tour can be combined with a visit to the Varnja Samovar House.

Vällamäe 3,3 km long hiking trail offers a unique elevation change in Estonia. Vällamägi is Estonia's second highest hill, covered with ancient forest and steep slopes, with an elevation of 303.9 m above sea level. However, considering the 84 meters measured from the base to the peak, Vällamägi is the highest in relative height in Estonia. The slopes of the hill are very steep in places (incline of 35-40 degrees). Since 1992, Vällamäe forests have been designated as a spruce gene pool reserve. As you move along the trail, steep ascents and descents alternate, offering both a physical challenge and breathtaking views of the ancient forest shelters. The climb to the peak may momentarily make you feel like you've arrived in the mountains, not Haanja. The charm of Vällamäe lies in its primordial silence and touch of nature – you won't find crowded hiking trails here. Each season adds its own character to the trail: in spring, the air is filled with birdsong, in summer you may find berries in the forest, in autumn colorful leaves and an abundance of mushrooms delight the eyes, and in winter the slopes are covered with a dense layer of snow in silence.

Luunja Rose Garden is a beautiful, unique, and popular concert venue with a stunning view by the Emajõgi River. It has a long history and a total of 58 rose varieties grow there. To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Estonia, a new rose variety called Luunja by Estonian rose breeder Mart Ojasalu was planted in the rose garden. It is dedicated to locals and all Estonians.It is a unique variety, the aim of which is to give the people of Luunja municipality, above all, a sense of togetherness and to leave future generations with an admirable rose garden.

Kubija Hotel-Nature Spa's 150-seat national-style restaurant offers, in addition to regular restaurant dishes, dishes made from local products in accordance with the food traditions of South Estonia. For us, it is important that the raw materials come primarily from local producers operating within a 50-kilometer radius. On warm summer evenings, it's nice to dine on the restaurant's outdoor terrace and simply enjoy the pleasant atmosphere. On weekdays, we offer guests a lunch buffet (main course, cake, flavored water, bread, rolls, and flavored butter), and a cup of coffee or tea is free with the daily special.
