The 3 km Tõrvandu forest study trail starts at a crossroads about 400 metres from Pähni Nature Centre. This marked and explained hiking trail is meant for everyone interested in the forest. There are campfire grounds, camping area and shelters on the trail. The 25 observation points of the trail are also permeable by car.

The centre offers something for everybody – children can have fun on a playground and at the Häpi adventure trail, and older people can enjoy disc golf, health trails, the largest network of mobile orienteering trails in Estonia, different sports courts, etc. It is also possible to train in an outdoor gym in the pine forest and put your skills to the test under the guidance of an instructor in shooting, laser shooting, or archery. After a day full of sports, you can relax in a sauna and use a grill house. The centre is a popular location for organising birthdays and summer retreats.

Rõsma Holiday Resort, located in Setomaa, directly on the shore of Lake Lämmijärv, fishermen can rent boats and families can rent water bikes. Good to know: in the winter, we offer accommodation for up to 14 people. In the summer, we can accommodate 39 people and we have an unlimited number of camping sites. Harimägi is one of the largest mesas in the Otepää Uplands (211 m above sea level). It is worth coming to Harimäe whenever you are near Otepää. The Harimäe Observation Tower is located 3 km from Kääriku in the direction of Sangaste. The height of the tower is 28 m, and the highest viewing platform is 24 m high. The tower offers views of the Otepää mountains and across the Väike Emajõgi valley to the Karula upland. Camping is also allowed at the tower. Good to know: Harimägi is also called 'Leenard and Leonhard's hill.' From 1816 to 1819, geodetic surveys were carried out here by the internationally recognised astronomer and surveyor Friedrich Georg Wilhelm Struwe (1793–1864).

Tellingumäe's 25-meter-high observation tower offers a beautiful view of the winding Mustjõgi gorges and the hilly landscape typical of South Estonia. Latvia can be seen in the distance, as nearby the Mustjõe River joins the Koiva (Gauja) River on the Estonian-Latvian border. Tellingumäe observation tower is a great place to observe nature and birds. Several rare bird species can be found here. The tower has an RMK campfire site and marked cycling and hiking trails of different lengths, like the Estonian-Latvian joint cultural heritage trail and the Koiva Cycling Trail.

The popular Väike-Munamäe Ski Resort, or Munakas, which slopes offer enjoyment for athletes and challenges and possibility to improve one's skills for beginners. Eight slopes, all with various length and descent ensure excitement and security at the same time. There are two hills with T-bar lifts and a hill for children as well. The longest slope is 630 metres. In addition to sporting possibilities there is equipment rental, ski service, restaurant Munaka Resto and various events. Munaka hill tickets are valid on Kuutsemägi hill as well.In summer you can enjoy nature views while riding the chairlift, hurry down the hill on a bike or rent an E-bike.
