The skiing slopes and cross-country skiing tracks in Haanja are suitable for beginners and experienced skiers alike. The skiing tracks are 1 km, 2 km, 3 km and 5 km long. By the stadium there is also a sledding slope which kids and adults will love. Lit skiing tracks run for 2 km and 3.2 km and are open until 21:00. Next to the recreation centre is a shooting range for biathlon lovers. The centre also rents skis, has changing facilities and a sauna, and a cafe for those looking to recharge their batteries. Outside of the skiing season the tracks in Haanja are ideal for cycling and hiking.

In the Bread Room one can make their first attempts in baking homemade bread. The Wood Shop’s breadmaster will guide you through the process of the perfect bread dough, and show you all the good ingredients and the secret components to a well risen dough and delicious taste. In the end of the workshop the Bread Room is full of irritatingly good bread baking fragrance. And of course no one is leaving without tasting the outcome of this exciting workshop and you can also take the leaven to go, to keep up the new learned skill of breadmaking. And if later there’s a need for a bread basket, Avinurme Wood-Shop can offer exactly what you need.

Sepa Farm is a cosy cottage in Aakre village in Tartu County. Guests can use the entire house, which has a bedroom, a walk-through room, a spacious living room, and a kitchen. In total, the holiday house can accommodate 8 people. Guests are provided with clean bed linen and the kitchen is equipped with an oven, a fridge, a kettle, a coffee maker, and other necessary kitchen utensils. There is also a wood-burning grill on the terrace.Sepa Farm is an ideal holiday cottage for families with children: it is possible to feed animals on the farm, hike in the forest, go to the sauna, and pick berries and mushrooms.

The guest apartment is located in the heart of Räpina. Restaurants and shops are within walking distance. Parks, Sillapää Castle, Räpina Reservoir, Räpina School of Horticulture collection garden, and other attractions are located in the immediate vicinity. The three-room apartment has two bedrooms and a living room. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking. There's free WiFi, and books and toys for families with children can be found on the shelves. With prior arrangements, you can order various motorboat and fishing trips on Lake Peipsi and Võhandu River, and try thrilling water sports.

The wetlands, bogs, and forests of the Peipsiveere Nature Reserve are rich in berries and mushrooms, and picking them has always been a summer tradition for Estonians. Led by an experienced guide with a forager's soul, we will hike to places where you can find Estonian nature's top delicacies, like blueberries and cranberries. We will learn how to find these berry and mushroom spots, what to pick, what to leave in the forest, and how to preserve berries and mushrooms for the winter. The trips take place from mid-July to mid-October. At the end of the trip, we will prepare a delicious dish from the natural products we have picked over a campfire in the forest. The two Taevaskoda outcrops on the banks of the ancient valley of the Ahja River are one of the most frequently visited sites in southern Estonia. The sandstone outcrops and the ancient river form the most beautiful part of the Ahja River Landscape Reserve. Legends speak of caves, secret passageways and of demons and a mermaid with a golden comb. A walk from the Saesaare dam to the Small Taevaskoda outcrop, the Emaläte spring, the Neitsikoobas cave and the Large Taevaskoda outcrop, which rises 22.5 metres above the river, is worth undertaking in every season. The beautiful and exciting natural setting attracts hikers – it is a place that every Estonian visits at least once in their life!

The medieval Rõngu St Michael's Church is dedicated to the Archangel Michael. The church is also known as the oldest building in Rõngu.The church has suffered major damage in several wars, and over time, the original architecture has been partially altered during the restorations. The current shape of the church dates from the last reconstruction in 1901.Today, the most significant parts of the church are the altarpiece (1901, the work of a Dresden artist), the organ (V. Müllverstedt, 1874), and the stained-glass windows (1900, the work of Riga artists).The church participates in both the 'Wayfarers' Churches' and the 'Night of Churches' programme.The church can be visited on Sundays during the service or by prior arrangement.

If you are exploring the Onion Route in a campervan or caravan, you can spend the night at Peipsi Caravan camping. The recreation area, which has been transformed into a natural park and is located in an old farmyard, has ten caravan sites with electricity. There is also enough space for campers with tents. You can take domestic water from a well.In winter period (from October until March) you can rent the whole holiday home, which accommodates 6 people. In addition you can relax in the authentic smoke sauna. Sauna heating by prior arrangement.Lake Peipus and the Nina beacon light are only a ten-minute walk away from the recreation area.
