The 23-storey high-rise building finished in 2008 on the right bank of the River Emajõgi in Tartu is called the Snail Tower. This is a unique apartment building in the centre of the city, designed by Vilen Künnapu and Ain Padrik. The Snail Tower is a symbolic building of Tartu – from the top, the rest of Tartu looks as small as the downtown looked to the clergyman of the church in the Middle Ages.

RemoteNow's eight cone-shaped cabins are located in the forests of Southern Estonia, near a bog lake, and are arranged to provide a pristine nature experience. Each cabin sits on a 2-3-meter layer of peat, creating a unique "floating" experience, and the cabins are connected by picturesque boardwalks. Studies show that spending time in nature encourages creativity, and providing this natural experience is one of our founding principles.We have done our best to ensure the cabins remain cozy and warm year-round. To further enhance the experience of moving in the bog, the toilet and shower are within walking distance in the sauna and café house. The café house is like a large, welcoming living room with a fully equipped kitchen, making it a pleasant place to socialize. Tartu Toy Museum, situated in the Old Town of Tartu, takes adults back to the brighter days of their childhood and offers children plenty of interesting things to see and do.The permanent exhibition displays toys that Estonian children have played with throughout the years. Artist-made dolls, souvenir dolls of different nations, and Finno-Ugric traditional toys are also exhibited. Playrooms and workshops are also open. You can see puppets from Estonian puppet films and temporary exhibitions in the outbuilding. The museum also has a theatre building named ’Teatri kodu’ (The Home of Theatre) with a theatre hall, a museum of puppets, and a children’s studio.

Orupõhja camping site offers an amazing holiday in the middle of the nature. Bring your friends or family and take a break on the shores of the beautiful Ahja River.The camping site has everything you need. You can also spend the night in a van or a caravan. There are electric hook ups.The price includes a tent or caravan place, parking, electricity, shower, toilet, drinking water, and the use of a grill (coal for an additional fee).

Peipsi Ranna Holiday House is located on the shore of Lake Peipsi. A wonderful sandy beach, sunrises, flocks of birds flying over the lake, peace and quiet — this is a real holiday! In the sauna house on the first floor, there is a kitchenette, a living room, and a sauna with a view of the lake. You can cook your own food or order catering services from the hostess. On the second floor, there is a large room with four beds for eight guests. You can go to a hot sauna, sit with friends on the terrace in a jacuzzi or cool off in the lake. The Nohipalo study trail is an interesting and educational hiking trail. There are 16 information boards on the three-kilometre trail, which give a good overview of hunting and forestry.The diversity of the nature makes the trail exciting – boreo-nemoral forests, eskers, and heath forests, where blueberries, lingonberries, and mushrooms can be picked depending on the season.On the study trail, you can admire the magnificent badger area and explore the traces of beavers. If you are lucky, you might even see an animal there.The Nohipalo study trail starts and ends at the Ilumetsa forest house.

Come and experience an adventure at the Agirregoikoa Kennel with Nordic sled dogs! A kennel visit lasts approximately 1.5-2 hours, during which you can enjoy a 1.5 km long sled ride. After the ride, you can walk with the dogs and pet and cuddle them. Choose your favorite dog, take selfies, capture a memorable moment with a large group photo, and enjoy hot tea or coffee. We warm up and share stories about the dog breed and history. Sled dogs are therapy for children. We do sled rides with snow and cart rides without snow. Only kennel visits are offered during the summer period.

The central square is surrounded by prominent stone buildings, which enrich the architectural look of Võru that is mainly home to wooden houses.Designed by architect Henn Kuvasto, the functionalist building was completed in 1938 for the county government. Before that, the Võru postal station of the historical Tartu–Võru post road was located at the same place. The house has always been used as an administrative building and today, it functions as the Võru State House.
