Linocut — where the printing form is cut out of linoleum by hand — is one of the simplest graphic arts techniques. In the workshop, each participant will make a linocut printing plate (10x15 cm) according to their own design, with which they will first print a clean, blind-embossed image and then color images. Prepare for the workshop by thinking of a design in advance or searching the Internet for an image to inspire you. Tip: The image should have strong contrasts and clear lines, like a black and white image, because smooth color transitions cannot be printed with linocut.
An extraordinary experience for friends or colleagues who appreciate exciting tastes and new experiences. We offer groups an exclusive opportunity to make one wine together (batch of 30 litres). Participants can combine different raw ingredients and techniques to create just the right wine. The winemaker helps and instructs and then, we leave the wine to mature for three to six months. We will design a personal label suitable for each bottle and bottle the finished wine, which we will deliver to you later. The visit also includes a tour of the vineyard and wine cellar.
The Õrsava Lake Hiking Trail winds around the lake of the same name. The 5 km trail starts officially at the Värska school stadium, but you can start at any point. The lakeside footpath is made more exciting by several bridges. On the shore of Õrsava village there is a campfire site and an RMK bonfire site, as well as a swimming area.In addition to scenic views of nature and pine forests, the hiking trail offers some history: it's partly on the road of the former Estonian Defense Forces Training Center, the so-called , and although the camp was largely dismantled in World War II, some soldiers' barracks and other buildings have been preserved.
Lake Tündre campfire site and nature reserve are located in Valga County, Sakala Recreation Area.The shore of the beautiful Tündre Lake is perfect for a longer holiday. There is a shelter with a roof, a dry toilet, an information board, a campfire site with a roof and a barbeque grill, a woodshed, and a swimming site. There are a lot of fish in the lake and it is a perfect place for a swim in the summer. To launch a boat, go to the adjacent Tündre campfire site. The forests around the lake are full of berries and mushrooms.

Visitors can use a snow tube track with a cable car.Downhill skiing training takes place on site under the guidance of instructors. Equipment can be rented on site. Järvere Manor was built on the shore of Lake Vagula in 1766 as a support manor of Sõmerpalu Manor. The manor was built by the owner of Sõmerpalu manor, Friedrich Alexander von Möller, Doctor of Philosophy. He had the Järvere Manor made for his mother and it was thus called the Old Lady's House.A park, established in 1830, separated Sõmerpalu and Järvere Manors and there were about 200 different tree and bush species already at that time.The Võru Forest Management Centre operated at the manor during Soviet time. Outbuildings were put in order and rebuilt in 1993.The manor is protected as a cultural monument and is private property today.
