It is an architectural attraction, a museum, a center for organizing events, an information center, and a sales point for local products and services. Värska Farm Museum is a unique place in Setomaa, offering comprehensive insight into the life of a wealthy Seto fortified farm in the 1920s. It is a great place to experience Seto culture, architecture, and traditions. The building complex includes a smoke sauna, a residential building, a clothing, dining and granary barn, an animal barn, a hay barn, a men's workshop, a threshing floor, a blacksmith's shop, and a pottery factory — you can get an overview of the entire Seto architecture. The museum also houses genuine Estonian farm animals. Various workshops are offered upon reservation, such as making sõir, bread making, and crocheting Seto lace, among others. The largest handicraft shop in Setomaa is open under the threshing floor! Come visit us!

Tasting wines (2 hours) at Murimäe Winery is a perfect way to spend some lovely time with your friends in the beautiful nature of Otepää. We offer a real wine experience with wines made in South Estonia.The visit includes a tour of the vineyard and winery, during which you can see Murimäe viticulture, taste five different craft wines, and get acquainted with the principles of matching wine and food.You can purchase wines from Murimäe Winery as well.

The tour guides will share exciting stories of nature and introduce other destinations in the vicinity which you can discover when hiking with us.The ice-skating hike on the bog-pools usually takes 2–4 hours. During this time, we will skate for up to 10 km on ice-covered plains, bog-pools, or lakes. You will set the pace of the hike. Everyone who can skate ski in the winter can also skate on bog-pools.Come and discover the biggest bog area of Valga County in the historical Mulgimaa and skate on frozen bog-pools and lakes!

A museum unique in Estonia is located on the main street of Mustvee, founded by Heino Lubi who worked as a scales maker for more than 30 years. The collection includes over 120 various scales, about 50 steelyards, a great number of metal and ceramic weights and other things related to scales.In addition to scales made in Estonia, Heino Lubi's collection also features scales made in the Soviet Union and Poland. The museum also displays several contemporary scales which help to understand the history of scales.Guided tours must be pre-booked!

A visit to the Tartu Observatory Visitor Centre in Tõravere represents one of the places worth exploring in South Estonia, marked with a yellow National Geographic window. At the Metsavenna Farm located on the Estonian-Latvian border, you have a unique opportunity to search for forest brothers in hiding places during a forest brother hike, stay in a bunker, and listen to true stories.The experience continues at the Metsavenna eatery, where simple yet authentic food from the era is served: boiled potatoes with skins, butter, salt, and juice. The visit concludes with a musical experience – singing the song of the former Härmiku forest brothers' orchestra.
