A monument to cold weather has been erected on the Piibe road on the outskirts of Jõgeva, where the lowest ever temperature in Estonia (-43.5*C) was recorded in 1940. The monument also highlights the most recent record of -37.6*C from 2003, also recorded in Jõgeva.

The recreation area by Lake Pangodi is a popular holiday destination, offering a variety of opportunities to enjoy nature. In the holiday complex, you can swim, camp, and make a campfire. The large lawn by the sandy beach has a children's playground with active holiday elements and a volleyball court. At the beginning of the recreation area, there is a parking lot that can accommodate up to 30 cars. The Pangodi camping area is by the lake, where you can find three campfire sites with canopies and benches. Along the Pikksaare hiking trail (1 km) starting from the car park, you will reach the Pangodi campfire site, which is about 500 m from the crowded camping area in the Pangodi park forest. Be respectful to nature!

Uppsala House is a typical 18th century citizen’s home – a one-storey building with a mansard roof. In 1993, the cities of Uppsala and Tartu entered into a cooperation project 'Restoration of Old Buildings'. This led to the restoration of Uppsala House, which currently belongs to Tartu City Government.Did you know...? The families of a secretary of the highest Livonian court, a saddle maker, tailors and representatives of many other interesting professions have lived in the building at different times. There were rental flats for students in the building in the beginning of the 19th century.Only the exterior of the Uppsala House can be enjoyed by the visitors!The building is listed in the Estonian National Register of Cultural Monuments.

We are the largest military adventure indoor play area for airsoft in South Estonia. We have two indoor areas (about 500 + 500 m2) at Pikk 60 and an outdoor area four kilometres from Tartu. Airsoft is a game where participants shoot each other with 6 mm bullets. Recommended age: 10 and above.We also offer the opportunity to play with laser tag guns, which ‘interact’ with each other; therefore, the participants are not actually hit. Additionally, children do not have to wear protective gear. The 18-course Sportland Prodigy Disc Golf Park, which is located in Mahlamäe, Elva, welcomes all disc golf enthusiasts and those who have never played it.The courses are situated on a diverse 2.7 km trail in the forest and are the perfect place to spend some lovely time in the wild. We do not rent discs here. Discs can be rented from the Nõo Sports Centre (according to the price list) or from the Discgolfar.ee Training Centre in Tartu (12 Pikk Street). The statue for those who perished in the War of Independence in Petseri county stands on the Statue of Liberty Square in Värska. The monument designed by sculptor Roman Haavamägi was supposed to be erected in the heart of the town of Petseri in the summer of 1940, but due to the Soviet occupation that started, the plan was abandoned. Only 80 years later, in 20 July 2020, the restored statue was opened here in Setomaa. The soldier figure was modelled and shaped in granite on the basis of photos by sculptor Tiiu Kirsipuu.The Statue of Liberty of Petseri was erected in remembrance of those nearly 350 Estonian soldiers who fell in the War of Independence in Petseri County, as well as the importance of the Tartu Peace Agreement for the Setos.
