Juulamõis Local Heritage Café is a small Green Key eatery in Vooremaa. Our wish is to offer people a cozy atmosphere and healthy food! We offer local food, tell regional legends, and introduce guests to the products of small producers. For those who prefer vegetarian food, there is a vegetarian menu; for families, there is a large family platter for sharing. There is an herb garden on the edge of the café terrace and a haystack for lounging. For those eager to learn, we offer workshops related to Estonian food. We put together local food baskets for a picnic or as a gift. The café is a good stopping point on your journey from the Ice Age Centre to Elistvere Animal Park and Vudila Playland.
Otepää St Mary's Lutheran Church is one of the 21 places in Southern Estonia worth discovering, all those interested in culture and history should definitely pay a visit. Otepää St Mary's Lutheran Church is historically connected to the national flag of Estonia. The blue, black and white flag of the Estonian Student Union, which later became the national flag and in 1991 the official flag of the state of Estonia, was consecrated in the rectory of the church on 4 June, 1884. The church has a neo-gothic altarpiece "Christ on the Cross" which dates from 1880, and a Kessler organ from 1853. In summer, the doors of the church are open to everyone.

The smoke sauna on the shore of the pond has been carefully constructed from massive aspen logs. The stove is made from manor-era bricks, and a half-ton of field stones provides the heat. The ceiling is insulated with one and a half tons of Mooste lightweight clay mixture. The plastic sauna is located at the edge of the forest, heats up quickly, and provides an authentic, old-school sauna experience with the right amount of water in a bowl — just pour it over yourself with a ladle! From the heat of the sauan, you can dash straight into the cool pond. In the weed food workshop, we will:- talk about which weeds to eat and which ones to leave in the forest;- study what is good about weeds and how to make the best use of it for our health;- prepare several weed dishes: for example, bread chips with dandelion pesto, mild nettle soup with smoked quail, weed pie with spring salads, and various healthy green smoothies.You can also try out exciting herbal teas and weed chips.Each participant will learn new weed recipes and experience real culinary delights!The workshop will take place at the request of the client in Tartu or Southern Estonia.

The monument to the physician who studied and became a professor in Tartu was completed in 1952. The authors of the monument are J Raudsepp, A Mölder, P Tarvas, A Volberg.Nikolai Pirogov was the founder of experimental surgery, topographic anatomy and field surgery. His work made the surgeries performed in Tartu famous all over Russia and also abroad.
