At the Ice Age Centre, you can travel through time from the ice age to the future. Discover the Ice Age Centre in Tartu County, on the shores of Lake Saadjärve. Interactive exhibitions take you on a journey from the last ice age to the present and beyond, revealing the story of the universe, Earth, and the evolution of life. The symbol of the Ice Age Centre is the mammoths that lived in this area 10,000 years ago. You will also encounter cave lions, ancient deer, and other Ice Age animals to learn how nature developed. The exhibitions clearly and engagingly explain the causes of climate change, the impact of human activity on the environment, and possible future scenarios. In the centre, you can move at your own pace, participate in themed tours, or use an audio guide suitable for both adults and children. The family-friendly environment makes the visit interesting for visitors of all ages. During the summer season, you can enhance your visit with a raft ride on Lake Saadjärve, and year-round, you are welcome at the Ice Age Centre café.

Forest Restaurant – is the art of cooking and serving food in the wild.The interior changes every season and the experience comes from authentic food, which is partly cooked over open fire. No plastic plates, plastic tents or garden chairs. There is a campfire, wooden dinnerware, camping frying pans, and a sooty coffee pot.Celebrate your birthday in nature with your friends, sitting by the fire, enjoying good food and having a pleasant conversation. If you want, you can order Forest Restaurant to a place suitable for you. The service is available for groups from 10 people in Põlva County and from 15 people elsewhere in Estonia. A transport fee of 150€ is added to the price outside Põlva County.

The Kalevipoja Chamber located in Jõgeva County, Kääpa includes the Kalevipoja Museum, the Kalevipoja Adventure Park, the Kalevipoja Playground and the Saare community center. In the Kalevipoja museum, you can get an excellent overview of the Estonian national epic "Kalevipoeg" and have the opportunity to familiarize yourself with the most important events in a playful way. Anyone who wishes can listen to the epic as an audiobook or sit in the "Plane" and watch a short film about places in Estonia related to Kalevipoja. In the Kalevipoja Adventure Park, you can test yourself between the earth and the sky by choosing either a higher or a lower path. Those who wish can also play disc golf. In Kalevipoja's playground, unique Kalevipoja-sized tools or his furniture are placed. And the best thing - all these items have turned into a kind of attraction in the playground, where you can spin, swing or just enjoy the beautiful surroundings... Tartu Toy Museum, situated in the Old Town of Tartu, takes adults back to the brighter days of their childhood and offers children plenty of interesting things to see and do.The permanent exhibition displays toys that Estonian children have played with throughout the years. Artist-made dolls, souvenir dolls of different nations, and Finno-Ugric traditional toys are also exhibited. Playrooms and workshops are also open. You can see puppets from Estonian puppet films and temporary exhibitions in the outbuilding. The museum also has a theatre building named ’Teatri kodu’ (The Home of Theatre) with a theatre hall, a museum of puppets, and a children’s studio.
