The Meremäe Viewing Tower is located between Meremäe village and Vastseliina Castle on Meremäe Hill (204 m). Based on its name, one might think that the sea might be visible from the tower. However, the sea, as we know it today, is about 250 km from here, though Lake Pskov – which is not visible on the opposite side, and which was probably also called a sea in the old days – is just 40 km away. In fine weather, the domes of the churches of the Pskov-Caves Monastery in Pechory can be seen from the tower. The wide view of Setomaa's fields and forests is amazingly beautiful in every season, regardless of the weather. Fifteen people can climb the viewing tower at a time.

In summer the beautiful landscaping, flower garden, berry grove, fruit tree grove, smoker oven and grill area are perfect for a barbeque or for just having a relaxing time. Õuna Holiday House has an area of 210 m², with a 50 m² cafe and fireplace room for holding various events. There is seating for 20.

We buy and sell classic art, including pieces by artists of the Pallas school and other well-known Estonian artists, as well as porcelain, gold and silver objects, icons, and other valuable antique items. By prior arrangement, you can also visit us outside of opening hours at a time convenient for you.

This is where art, wine, and good food come together, and there is no shortage of good company! The menu offers a wide selection of light meals as well as delicious main courses, and during the summer season, all main courses are prepared right before your eyes on the grill on the summer terrace! Located at the Estonian Agricultural Museum in Ülenurme, the MUHK, or the Rural Curiosity Center, is a lively place where visitors of all ages can discover, research, and play. This is where rural life comes to play through engaging education. Located on two floors, the center introduces modern agriculture through practical activities. The “Barn Symphony” exhibition explores topics related to animal welfare, feeding, and husbandry. You can also meet the museum's farm animals and relax in a soothing rabbit village. The exhibition “Manure and Milk” adds to the excitement, where you can also see a rare manure spreader. For the more adventurous, the slightly gut-wrenching veterinary room takes a look at the history of animal treatment. The museum’s treasury, or open storage, also awaits visitors, where fascinating objects from the museum’s collections are on display. The Estonian Rural Museum ticket gives you access to all museums in the complex, including the Rural Curiosity Center.
Ööbikuoru Villa's café-restaurant Andreas offers an a la carte menu based on the food culture of Võru County, modern trends, and the changing seasons. We place special emphasis on local food; a large part of the food we use comes directly from Võru County farms. We believe that delicious food can be found even in the most remote places in Estonia. In the summer, it is possible to organize wedding parties for up to 74 people in an outdoor tent with a lake view or celebrate festive events in a room with a glass terrace that can accommodate 40 people. Time at Andreas is time well spent!
Peko Holiday Home, belonging to Värska Orienteering Club, is located 3 km from Värska. The ground floor of the holiday home has a large dining room for 24 people, a kitchen, a sauna and a toilet. The first floor has two bedrooms, six beds each. There is a bonfire site next to the building.There are excellent opportunities for exercising in the vicinity of the house: ski tracks, a volleyball court, an orienteering track and a map.
