Tähtvere Sport Park winter sports trails

The 9 km Pühajärv-Kääriku exercise track starts by the car park of Pühajärv Spa Hotel. The track runs along the shores of Lake Pühajärv to the Murrumets forest. Once the track leaves the forest behind, it meets the road, where you have to look out for traffic. It then runs on to Kääriku along the Otepää-Kääriku road. There are some steep inclines along the track, which means that inexperienced cyclists and rollerbladers will need to be very careful.In winter, when there is enough natural snow, you can ski on the trail.

The hike will last up to three hours. We will ice skate along the channels that are covered with smooth ice. We will also skate over/around flooded meadows, stop at beaver dams and otter burrows, explore animal tracks on the snow, and admire Lake Peipus as well. In the middle of the hike, we will take a short break to drink tea and have a bite to eat. If it is allowed to go on Lake Peipus at the time of the hike, we will skate back along the shore of Lake Peipus. The hike is for adults!Participants will receive the hiking skates (attached to your boots), poles, and ice awls. NB! Bring your ID-card.

Mooska Adventure Trips offer a great opportunity to learn about Võru County's smoke sauna traditions and heritages. The Lüllemäe snowboard and ski hill is located in a naturally beautiful place, marked by the National Geographic yellow frame.The hillside is waiting for all those who enjoy winter. Visitors can use a snow tube track with a cable car.Downhill skiing training takes place on site under the guidance of instructors. Equipment can be rented on site. There are also Lüllemäe ski trails near the hill.Use of sports equipment and the ski lift can be paid for in cash on site.

The starting point of these tracks, which are 4 km from the centre of Võru, is at the ski centre at the Kubija Hotel. The tracks measure 2, 3 and 5 km and are lit until 20:00 from Monday to Friday.

This 1.2 km long health track starts from Kunimäe plateau by the main building at Tehvandi Sports Centre, where there is a gymnastics set with three different attractions, and then winds its way around Kunimäe Hill. There are seven exercise sets along the track designed to develop different muscle groups and balance. The track is marked by green tape.
