We love good coffee and nature-friendly thinking. As a result, we had the idea to establish a roastery in the cosiest district in Tartu – Karlova. Here, we always offer coffee that is delicious, fresh, and eco-friendly. The selection is available HERE.In the same ‘room’ as the roastery, you will find a cosy cafe where we work hard every day to ensure that our coffee is the best it can be.Our second favourite is porridge: in the morning and at noon on weekdays, you can try it out!On Sundays, we offer delicious pancakes.

We offer you an archaic and rustic smoke sauna experience directly on the slope of Obinitsa. The use of the smoke sauna is generally included in the room price. From the smoke sauna, you can dive directly into the refreshing barrel sauna and enjoy the healing beauty of Setomaa nature vis-à-vis. The smoke sauna tradition is one of the most special in the region. Heating the sauna is a long process that lasts several hours. Once the last smoke, or "karm," is released from the heated room, the true sauna enjoyment can begin. In a well-prepared smoke sauna, the air is clear and light, the steam pleasantly soft, and health-restoring. It is not just a place to wash, but part of an experience where rituals, stories, and closeness to nature help balance both body and mind. Don't be surprised if you hear chickens clucking or smell ponies Saara and Spotter in the air. They too are busy with their daily activities at Ilmaveere, and this is part of the unique Setomaa atmosphere that cannot be found anywhere else in the world. The smoke sauna traditions of Vana-Võrumaa are listed in the UNESCO cultural heritage.

A lighted boat trip on Koorküla's Lake Valgjärv takes you on an evening journey into an underwater world! Koorküla's Lake Valgjärv, with its clear water, mysterious atmosphere, and stunning natural beauty, is the perfect spot for a leisurely boat trip. The trip, starting at dusk, takes you on a boat across the lake, with light strips beneath the boat illuminating the lakebed and creating an enchanting atmosphere. During the trip, you can peek into the underwater world, with good visibility allowing you to see up to 2–3 meters deep. On the journey, you might encounter small and large fish, and, if you're lucky, crayfish and beavers. In the fall, you can see them gathering their winter supplies. The guide takes you to exciting observation spots – to the beaver nests on the opposite shore, over underwater wooden ruins, and into the reeds where fish spend the night. We divide the group into rafts to ensure the light play on the lake is as effective as possible and the experience is as uniform as possible. You can feel touched by the divine when walking on the beach or swimming in Lake Pühajärv.Namely, His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama Tenzin Gyatso (born 1935), the leader of the Tibetan people, visited Estonia and Otepää on 3 October, 1991. He blessed Lake Pühajärv on the same day. The historical visit is commemorated with a wooden sculpture near the beach in Pühajärv Park.

Karl August Hermann (23 September 1851, Võhma village, Põltsamaa parish – 11 January 1909, Tartu) was an Estonian composer, linguist, and encyclopaedist. He was an important figure in the national movement. He published the first encyclopaedia in Estonian, was one of the organisers of several song festivals, and composed several hundred pieces of music, the best known of which are, for example, 'Kungla rahvas' and 'Oh laula ja hõiska'. He bought Perno Postimees, brought the publication to Tartu, and turned it into the first Estonian-language daily newspaper.The monument to Karl August Hermann in the park of Vana-Põltsamaa Manor was opened on 10 June 1935. The author of the statue is Alfred Zolk-Leius.

Villa Tammekann is an architectural landmark, where the Granö Centre of the University of Turku and Tartu operates.The world-famous Finnish architect Alvar Aalto designed the building as the home of August Tammekann, Professor of Geography at the University of Tartu. The University of Turku Foundation bought the house from the children of Tammekann in 1998, and then the building was overhauled mainly in accordance with the drawings of Alvar and Aino Aalto. The overhaul was recognised with the Europa Nostra Prize in 2001.The house is part of the National Register of Cultural Monuments and the international IconicHouses network.Groups must book a time to visit the house.
