The museum is located at the historical Ülenurme Manor and introduces the development of the Estonian agriculture and rural life.In addition to exhibitions, museum visitors can participate in museum classes meant for children and adults, participate in master classes or cooking workshops, enjoy the nice surroundings and meet farm animals. The museum ponies take children for a ride. There are several traditional, but also innovative family events at the museum.It is possible to rent the museum's rooms and territory for events.

We offer an unforgettable experience with a haunted dinner at Alatskivi Castle. Travel back in time to 140 years ago when the Nolcken family lived in the manor, and there was no electricity or modern technology. During the evening, the lady of the manor will move through the dark rooms of the castle, telling stories of bygone times and ghostly legends, because the castle is truly haunted! The experience includes a guided tour of the castle and a 3-course period-themed dinner, accompanied by a welcome drink. It is possible to order additional drinks with the courses. Theatre House, situated in Tartu Old Town, is a theatre inspired by a museum, forming a part of the Tartu Toy Museum. The Theatre House takes its inspiration from our childhood, the games we played, the dreams we had, and the fantasies we brought to life. The Theatre House stages plays, but you can also put on your own show, play games, make handicrafts, and discover what goes on behind the scenes in the theatre world. There is a children’s studio on the first floor, in which children’s groups can take part in theatre-themed programmes. Visitors find a museum, an automated puppet theatre, and several exciting theatre-themed exhibitions in the basement level.

The Onion Road has many layers of flavours. During the tour, we will discover the local culture through all of them. Participants will learn the secrets of Ivan Chai, eat the famous onion pies of Kostja, taste chicory cake and coffee, and drink local craft wines.In addition, we will make a bag with block printing, learn the story of the Old Believers and the Baltic German landlords, and find out how the locals grow onions.It is possible to order the tour with (additional 150 euros) or without a guide.We will choose the dishes and places in accordance with your wishes and the season.

Many birds and animals await you at "Talu ja loomad" (Farm and Animals) hobby farm, located in Kulli village in Tartu County! At the farm you can see various birds: chickens, the world's smallest seramas, ducks, turkeys, and geese. Additionally, the farm has goats, sheep, rabbits, chinchillas, hedgehogs, and a Vietnamese pot-bellied pig. You can meet about 300 animals and birds at the farm.
