Tavern ‘Lühikeste meeste kõrts’ can accommodate about 50 women and men, but mind your head when you enter the room. Our meals are homemade and popular across the village. Tomato, cucumber, and other vegetables are local, as are eggs and fish. Drinks are not local, but they are still excellent. The tavern is suitable for various events. Upon pre-booking, we also offer group catering, where several dishes are traditional. You can also order catering and an evening host from us.

In August 2020, five team houses were added to the Kääriku Sports Centre. The team houses are for athletes, athletic families, and groups of friends.Each building can accommodate 12 guests who can use the house with a sauna, a lounge, and six separate bedrooms. The houses are located next to the new ball games hall, on a slope. The houses are close to trails, Kekkose ski track, and the ball games hall.

Taevaskoja, caves and white water – such beautiful scenery satisfies even the most demanding of canoeists.Duration of the trip: Koorvere-Kiidjärve – 3 hours (11 km). Kiidjärve-Saesaare – 1.5-2 hours.Price: a canoe trip is €16 per person and a kayak trip is €20 per person.Price for children between the ages of 8-16: €12 per person.The minimum size of a group is 10 people.Small groups can join scheduled trips.

At Seto Tsäimaja, you can eat Seto food from handmade earthenware and listen to Seto songs and musical instruments. You can also practice Seto by reading from the menu. The restaurant is next to the Värska Farm Museum — combine your dining experience with a visit to the museum and explore the local craft and souvenir shop. The smoke sauna tradition of Vana-Võrumaa is part of UNESCO's Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Good to know: Please bring non-alcoholic beverages (e.g., drinking water) and towels. Heating the sauna is a long process and is only done by pre-order.

We introduce our guests the bagpipe and perform folk music. You can enjoy the performances of Anu and Triinu Taul. The farm has its own airport. Sightseeing flights with a motorised hang glider.

Tartu's Gothic-style St. John's Church dates back to the 14th century, making it one of the oldest churches in Estonia. It is known for its unique terracotta sculptures, which are considered rare in all of Europe. The church once had over 1,000 handmade terracotta statues; about 200 have survived. Each sculpture is different, which has led to speculation that they may depict Tartu's former inhabitants or other important people. The tower of St. John's Church offers a wonderful view of the entire historic old town of Tartu. It houses two bronze bells, called Peter and Paul. On the last Sunday of every month, the church holds a service in English!

The best way to encounter the Tindioru water rams is to embark on an exciting hike along the Rõuge primeval valley trail.The water ram is a "perpetual motion" pump that uses only the energy of water and is capable of pumping water to heights of tens of meters. There are two water rams in Tindioru: the first was built in 1939 and the second in 2002. The Tindioru water rams are rare tools that combine smart engineering and the interplay of natural forces. They can be considered a kind of symbol of Rõuge's inventive spirit — a time when everything had to be built by hand and in harmony with nature. When the ice-cold spring water starts to make the ram buzz, the whole valley seems to come to life. The sight is particularly enchanting in early spring, when the cold has shaped the water ram's splashes into tall and marvelous ice sculptures. Glittering in the sunlight, they appear like fairy tale castles emerging from the earth. The Tindioru water rams are a living memory of a time when water was man's main source of energy — and proof that genius lies in simplicity.
