The longest River in Estonia - Võhandu (162 km) flows through Võru and Põlva County in its beautiful and abrupt bed surrounded by sandstone outcrops. An elaborate 80 km independent canoe hike, kayak hike or raft hike is suitable for both families and friends to familiarize themselves with Estonian nature. Hikers move on their own, designing their own hiking day, movement schedule and journey length. Overnight in tents, meals are made on Primus. The trips are suitable for children from the age of 7. The speed can be adjusted and the boat can take it slower.Wakeboarding, water skiing or tubing in Emajõe-Suursoo will take around 1.5 hours.

The barge Jõmmu is a traditional wooden merchant sailing ship, the only one of its kind to have been restored. Step aboard and sail on a historic ship and enjoy the beauty of Emajõe-Peipsi's nature and views of the city of Tartu! Barge trips can be booked for larger groups for seminars, birthdays, or other special events. Smaller groups are welcome on scheduled trips. Come enjoy a boat ride on the Emajõe! The riverboat Pegasus offers an opportunity to experience Tartu as a river city, organizing regular trips and charter journeys for up to 75 people, starting next to the Dorpat Hotel. Pegasus was built in 1958 at the Moscow shipyard in Russia and was named Kreutzwald until 1993. In the 20th century, Pegasus conducted multi-day excursion trips (e.g., autumn berry trips) and also regular services, including routes from Tartu to Ihaste, which later became a pleasure trip.
