The first prayer house of Old Believers in Estonia is located in Kükita. The Kükita Prayer House was consecrated on September 14, 1740. During the war of 1812, the Cossack Old Believers donated a chandelier to the Prayer House. There were a total of 397 Old Believers in the list of parishioners of the Kükita congregation by 1833. The current Prayer House was built in 1948 in place of the one destroyed in World War II.Old Believers have services every Sunday and on all holidays (Christmas, Pascha and Epiphany).

The quay of the river Emajõgi on the side of Supilinn features a nice promenade (1.3 km), which is lined with an enchanting avenue of old poplars. The avenue takes past the village swing, small Konnatiik and Tähtvere Sports Park where anyone can find a suitable activity all year round. On the Supilinna promenade, you will see health enthusiasts enjoying their sports. During the summer, the citizens take the avenue on bikes or walking to the Emajõe free pool beach to swim . Tähtvere Mansion was first mentioned in 1515 and belonged to the Bishop of Tartu in the Middle Ages. In 1919, part of the lands of Tähtvere Mansion were sold as the first building plots of Tähtvere District. The main building of the mansion (built in 1910 in the heimat style) has been preserved and is used as one of the study buildings of the Estonian University of Life Sciences (an extension has been added to it).The surviving outbuildings of the mansion are a small animal barn, a maid's house, a barn/grain dryer, a cattle barn, a farmhand's house, and a smithy.The Mansion can only be seen from the outside and it can also be seen for example in the guided bicycle tour "Tartu City Mansions".
The 9 km Pühajärv-Kääriku exercise track starts by the car park of Pühajärv Spa Hotel. The track runs along the shores of Lake Pühajärv to the Murrumets forest. Once the track leaves the forest behind, it meets the road, where you have to look out for traffic. It then runs on to Kääriku along the Otepää-Kääriku road. There are some steep inclines along the track, which means that inexperienced cyclists and rollerbladers will need to be very careful.In winter, when there is enough natural snow, you can ski on the trail.
