The nature trail connecting two cities runs along the banks of the Pedeli River. The asphalt trail is 5 km long. If you find yourself on a boardwalk in the middle of the path, you have already crossed the border. Take the time to climb the stairs to Pudrumägi hill, which offers a wonderful view of the twin cities! There is no rush here – there are children's playgrounds, outdoor gyms, a beach, a recreation area on the peninsula, and even dog parks by the trail. Anne Canal is located in the city of Tartu, where you can enjoy summer beach fun. The beach has a golden sandy beach that awaits sunbathers and sandcastle builders. There is also a playground with swings, climbing ladders, and a slide. There are fitness trails, an outdoor gym, and a volleyball court along the Canal. There are changing cabins and toilets on the beach. During the swimming season, the beach café Lennuk is open, where you can buy refreshing drinks and street food. In winter, you can go winter swimming in Anne Canal and go ice skating with your own skates. Good to know: During the summer months, the beach is patrolled by lifeguards.

One of the most famous and beloved places in the town of Elva, Tartu County, is the beach of Lake Verevi, whose warm water and soft sand have been a favorite of locals and visitors for decades. This lake is a scenic spot in the heart of Elva, where summer vibes, active leisure, and the pleasure of a day at the beach meet. The beach has a diving tower, children's pool, and volleyball courts, where various competitions are often held. The beach has all the necessary amenities, including changing cabins, lifeguards, toilets, and a summer beach café. At Verevi Beach Café, you can enjoy authentic Italian gelato and rent SUP boards. Near Verevi Beach is Elva Sports Park, which features a tennis court, outdoor gym, Elva City Stadium, Seeneriigi playground, and a running track under the pines. There is an exercise track by the northern part of the park. This is also the place where you will find the beach with a beach house, cafés, arbours and boat hire.The park used to be a part of the Pühajärv Manor Park and it was designed as a walking forest with paths already in the 19th century. The park is mainly a naturally grown forest.
