In the Local Heritage Cafe of Juulamõis, we offer workshops for groups who want to immerse themselves in the secrets of the plant world. Together, we make mustards and herbal salts, perform herbal tea rituals, and discover the power of nature.In the workshop, we will learn about edible plants depending on the seasons, discuss their beneficial effects on health, share tips and recipes, and set a snack table for the whole group. Estonian nature is rich in plants full of power: it is important to notice them, know how to use them with gratitude, eat them, and offer them to our friends!

Hämsa Tavern offers traditional Estonian dishes in which local ingredients take pride of place. Catering is available at the tavern for up to 60 people, while a further 120 can make the most of our two outdoor terraces. SPARGEL — the cosy restaurant-gallery is located in the Tartu Centre for Creative Industries, where art can be found both on the walls and on the plate.Based on seasonal and local ingredients, we offer an à la carte menu, which offers a selection dishes from rabbit to herring and a range of vegan dishes. Our lunch and monthly specials and themed catering are also very popular. The cosy rooms of the restaurant-gallery can be booked for birthdays, company celebrations, and other events. The restaurant has children’s chairs and menu, and a wonderful two-storey playroom with a slide.The exclusive backyard outdoor cafeteria, surrounded by nature, is open during summer months.

At Seto Tsäimaja, you can eat Seto food from handmade earthenware and listen to Seto songs and musical instruments. You can also practice Seto by reading from the menu. The restaurant is next to the Värska Farm Museum — combine your dining experience with a visit to the museum and explore the local craft and souvenir shop. On the second floor of the building, there is a classroom suitable for organizing seminars and meetings or seating for smaller groups.
