We offer four glamping tents for accommodation, each with four comfortable single beds, a heater, and electricity. This makes staying overnight comfortable at any time of the year. The entire glamping village can accommodate up to 16 people, making it ideal for both smaller groups and holidays with friends. The accommodation price includes washing facilities and access to the sauna in the WPark main house during its opening hours. You don't have to worry about breakfast either because you can buy a delicious meal at the W Cafe. The central square of Võru, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Estonia, is unique for its urban furniture. The word furniture originates from the Latin word mobilis – movable. From early spring until late autumn, a canoe and kayak trip on Võhandu River is an exiting way to have fun and gain new experiences.As an alternative to familiar canoes, we also offer river kayaks. These kayaks are stable, fast, comfortable and safe. A kayak can be easily steered by foot pedals and the paddlers are protected from rain and spray by the deck and the spray skirt of the kayak. Therefore, the weather will not get in the way of your adventure. We offer shorter and longer trips (2-6 hours and 1-3 days).Price list for water trips and information about accommodation options is available on our website.Minimum size of the group is 10 people.
The 4-km Emajõe river shore path starts from the Turu bridge between River Emajõgi and Anne channel, and it runs on the Natura 2000 protection area and offers spacious views of the Anne channel, River Emajõgi, ship and boat traffic, and Karlova harbour.The hiking trail features information boards, riverside picnic areas, and several bridges, you can also meet hobby fishermen there. During spring, the path may be flooded and provides an opportunity to enjoy the views of the flooded meadow. When the trail ends, you can walk the same way back. Another option is to turn left to the gravel road, which leads to the Ihaste cycling and walking road.
Lake Verijärv nature studies trail is around 1 km long and has 9 information boards showcasing plants, trees, bushes, birds and animals. The trail runs through the Lake Verijärv ancient valley and wood. There are signs along the trail as well as three barbecue areas with benches.There are various legends about Lake Verijärv. It is said that the lake got its name centuries ago when slaves were punished in the old cellar that stood on the shore and their blood turned the water red. Another legend speaks of the nasty lord of Kasaritsa Manor, who was drowned by his coachman with his carriage and horses while driving home one night.
Tehvandi Cycling Track starts from the shooting range end of the stadium and runs along the Tartu Cycling Marathon Track to Ansomäe, then past Kasemets, Kuusemets and Savimägi to Tehvandi Hill and back to the start through Tehvandi Marsh, Lättemägi and the fort. The 5.7 km track offers a good view of the new K90 ski jumping hill in Tehvandi. Most of the track is covered with soil and some parts run though marshes, which makes them rather difficult to tackle. The track is marked with yellow plastic ribbons.
The carfts and souvenir counter of Räpina Creative Centre sells the creation of local masters: a wide selection of ceramics, stained glass, greeting cards, albums and notebooks, candles, textile items, jewellery and many other interesting items. We also accept custom orders. If you would like to craft something yourself, then groups can participate in various workshops that need to be booked in advance.
