Apteekrimäe forest track starts and ends by Otepää Sports Hall on Mäe Street. The 4 km track runs through the forest to Nüpli Sports Track and then back to the Apteekri forest, where it meets the forest path between Lake Marguse and Otepää Garden Town before returning to its starting point after crossing the Sulaoja bridge. The track can be used all year round.

The best-known caves - Sõjatare, Uku, and Väike-Sõjatare - are located in the landscape reserve of the Võhandu River Valley. The caves are situated in sandstone crevices that the springs have caused. The largest of them, Sõjatare, has fallen in and is now a gulch. Two caves have been preserved: Uku (with springs) and Väike-Sõjatare. Uku Cave is located next to the fallen in Sõjatare Cave. Väike-Sõjatare Cave is located 30 m downstream from Uku Cave.According to legend, the mother of the devil used to knit in the cave.Sõjatare, however, is said to be an ancient sanctuary. Behind it, there is a tunnel with an iron door, where two devils come out once a year.

Lake Kamari recreation area has become an extremely popular destination among holiday-makers for its beautiful views and forests. There are two jetties, areas for beach volleyball and football, a shower and toilets, benches and a playground for small children with swings and a slide. The Baltic Forest Trail is a hiking trail over 2,000 km long running through the Baltic States, of which 720 km are available for hiking in Estonia. The trail is divided into 50 one-day sections, each approximately 20 km long and marked with signposts. The trail sections have different difficulty levels so everyone can choose the most suitable one for themselves! The hiking trail passes through forested areas and two national parks, Lahemaa and Alustaguse National Parks. Along the way, you can observe trees of different species and places connected to historical events or legends. The trail is well-suited for bird and animal watching.
