Emajõe Aed, located by the River Emajõgi, is a public permaculture community garden. Permaculture is a sustainable and environmentally-friendly way of cultivating land, and the aim of the Emajõe Aed is to introduce permaculture and urban gardening to townspeople, enrich the diversity of urban nature, and enliven the urban space.We grow food together in the garden, following the principles of permaculture, and those who wish can become community gardeners. All visitors can explore the garden on their own, and we can also organise excursions in the garden for those who are interested.During the gardening season, public workshops, campfire evenings, and other events take place regularly in the garden.
Rafting trip takes place during spring freshet. On the trip, we'll be using simple new rafts - one for 7 and another for 9 people. The rafts are easy to steer and row. Correct technique is taught at the beginning of the trip. There is no fear of falling overboard and rafting through the rapids is as fun as jumping up and down on a water bed. Your guide is going to observe the trip from the river banks and will assist you if needed. Peipsiveere Samovar House is a small museum in the Old Believers' village of Varnja that introduces visitors to the world of samovars and tea culture along Lake Peipsi. The private collection, accumulated over decades, contains more than 200 diverse samovars. From simple tin samovars to rare ones with elaborate engravings, reflecting the skills and traditions of masters from different eras. The exhibition, located in an authentic Old Believers' house, offers visitors insight into why the samovar was more than just a kettle for centuries. Stories reveal the origins of samovars, manufacturing techniques, usage methods, different design types, and tea-drinking traditions in the communities along the lake. Every guest can taste genuine samovar tea and the famous Ivan chai, and try traditional boiled sugar with the tea, an integral part of Old Believers' tea culture. If desired, one can also explore handmade samovar accessories and hear stories from the hostess of Mesi Tare about preparing, serving, and respectfully preserving tea.

Metsa Farm is home to one of Estonia's oldest cultivated blueberry plantations. During the visit, we will walk through the plantation, talk about blueberry cultivation, and the birth story of Estonia's first cultivated blueberry variety 'Are', which is named after the first name of the owner of Metsa Farm. Unique Rooswald Red blueberry wines from dry to semi-sweet and blueberry seedlings can be purchased at the farm. We look forward to your visit!
