SPARGEL — the cosy restaurant-gallery is located in the Tartu Centre for Creative Industries, where art can be found both on the walls and on the plate.Based on seasonal and local ingredients, we offer an à la carte menu, which offers a selection dishes from rabbit to herring and a range of vegan dishes. Our lunch and monthly specials and themed catering are also very popular. The cosy rooms of the restaurant-gallery can be booked for birthdays, company celebrations, and other events. The restaurant has children’s chairs and menu, and a wonderful two-storey playroom with a slide.The exclusive backyard outdoor cafeteria, surrounded by nature, is open during summer months.

Come to Liikluslinn (Traffic City) and learn safe driving. This is a unique indoor traffic city with working traffic lights and glowing city lights. On the spot, you can learn to follow traffic rules.At the centre, you find a café, an outdoor cinema, a discotheque, a sports hall and many other facilities that a modern city should have.The Traffic City also has a formula racing track and a practice area for bicycles where you can take an exam for a bicycle driving licence in the future.We welcome both children and adults to the Traffic City, where you can learn about safe traffic and have fun with the entire family!Useful information: The use of cars is subject to an extra charge.

The interactive exhibition at Alatskivi Castle's horse stable provides a good overview of manor life. The central part of the exhibition is a drawing of the Alatskivi Manor estate grounds, which explains the management and living environment of the entire complex. You will learn what role purebred dog breeding played in the manor, how forestry was managed, how much income Alatskivi Manor earned, and where the money came from to build the fairytale castle. The play corner with a beautiful replica of the castle and dolls will delight the youngest visitors. The horse stable is perfect for organizing concerts and events! Hellenurme Mill Museum in Southern Estonia is the last operational historical watermill in Estonia and one of the few examples of a water-powered mill as industrial heritage in the Nordic countries. Visiting the mill feels like a trip back in time. Visitors can see century-old equipment across four floors of the mill, from the turbine to the milling machines and millstones, which still grind rye into bread flour. In the bread house, the mill hostess offers guests traditional Estonian rye bread made on-site and shares stories that bring the everyday life of centuries past to life. The large mill building of Hellenurme Manor, built in 1880 in Tartu County, hides surprises at every step. In addition to the working mill, guests can enjoy workshops and meals in the bread house. It is possible to stay overnight in the freshly renovated mill chambers, which offer views of the river and lake. Visitors can admire the lake's beauty and the surrounding nature.Here, you can also enjoy cultural events and celebrate festive moments with friends, family, or colleagues.

Vasekoja Holiday Centre is open all year round and is located in Võrumaa, Vastseliina parish, Möldri village near the Piusa river. We have tried to use the peculiarity of the landscape of this area and constructed the holiday home on the edge of the Piusa river valley for you. The holiday home is freshly built; modern solutions and traditional materials and construction principles have been used. Beautiful views over the valley can be seen through the windows of the holiday home.

Come and experience Estonia's vast natural landscapes in a primal way — by dogsled! Karusaare dogsled trips in Tartu County offer unforgettable experiences throughout the year in the forest landscape of Järvselja and the Peipsiveere Nature Reserve in Emajõe-Suursoo. From autumn to spring, we move on off-road carts and, in winter, when there is enough snow, on traditional sleds. You can choose a shorter trip or a longer journey. It is an appropriate activity for the whole family, including children over the age of 3. The hike begins and ends at the sled dog training center, where the instructor shares the necessary safety and driving instructions. On our journey, we take short breaks to water the dogs, and on longer journeys, we stop by the fire to enjoy a bit of heat, light, and warm food. If you wish, you can also order catering to make your trip even more memorable. Trips only take place when the air temperature is below +12 °C and there is no storm warning or wind gusting above 15 m/s.

The Pokuland theme park on the borders of Võru and Põlva Counties was created after a children’s book, Pokumaa by Edgar Valter, and its main characters – Pokus. Pokus were created after sedge tussocks, or clumps of long, thick grass that grow in the bogs.The world of Pokus begins with the visitor's centre – Pokuhall – that looks like a twin-Poku and surprises guests with its unique stairways, passages and interior design elements. In the Pokuhall visitors can see original illustrations and oil paintings by Edgar Valter, get to know his creative work and make Pokus themselves. There are many other activities and events, such as study trails to introduce local nature, village swings to ride, as well as picnic and camping sites.
