The 9 km Pühajärv-Kääriku exercise track starts by the car park of Pühajärv Spa Hotel. The track runs along the shores of Lake Pühajärv to the Murrumets forest. Once the track leaves the forest behind, it meets the road, where you have to look out for traffic. It then runs on to Kääriku along the Otepää-Kääriku road. There are some steep inclines along the track, which means that inexperienced cyclists and rollerbladers will need to be very careful.In winter, when there is enough natural snow, you can ski on the trail.
Kuningamägi hill in Põltsamaa has an exciting new addition – a slope for mountain sports that is open to all skiing and snowboarding enthusiasts!On the slope with a 140-metre ascent, you can ride the snowboard or ski for about a couple of hundred metres. The profile of the track is intended for beginners and intermediate enthusiasts, but is also suitable for more experienced athletes. A lift takes you to the hill and you will find small jumps, pipes, and boxes when descending.It is also possible to rent a small amount of snowboard equipment (board, boots, clips, helmet) on site.Kuningamäe ski trails and a sledding hill are also nearby.
The Kubija health trails and training area, which are 4.5 km from the centre of Võru, offer a range of sporting opportunities to all sports lovers in beautiful natural surroundings. The ca 2 km long rollerblading track and forest trails start from the Võru Sports Centre Kubija ski base. Right at the very start of the tracks is a training area in which you can give all of your muscle groups a good workout. The diversity of sports facilities and beautiful nature bring active people to Kääriku throughout the year.Kääriku Sports Centre was established in 1947 as a study and training centre of the Department of Physical Education and Sport of the University of Tartu. Today, the modern sports centre has a ball hall, tennis and beach volleyball courts, athletics and football stadium, and ski and hiking trails. There is an outdoor swimming pool, the Kekkonen sauna and Green sauna, a sandy beach, and a children's playground by Lake Kääriku. We also offer accommodation, catering, and conference rooms all year round.
The 63 km track of the Tartu Ski Marathon starts from the stadium of Tehvandi Sport Centre in Otepää and runs to Elva through Väike Munamägi, Matu, Harimägi, Kuutsemägi and Palu. The 31 km track starts by the Arula crossroads. The official finish of the track is in the Tartu County Recreational Sport Centre in Elva. The track section between Tehvandi and Kääriku can be used from the second week of February until the end of the winter season.Interesting facts: * the wooden sculptures of the biggest open air theme park in Estonia, Maajumalate Park, are near the track.

The skiing slopes and cross-country skiing tracks in Haanja are suitable for beginners and experienced skiers alike. The skiing tracks are 1 km, 2 km, 3 km and 5 km long. By the stadium there is also a sledding slope which kids and adults will love. Lit skiing tracks run for 2 km and 3.2 km and are open until 21:00. Next to the recreation centre is a shooting range for biathlon lovers. The centre also rents skis, has changing facilities and a sauna, and a cafe for those looking to recharge their batteries. Outside of the skiing season the tracks in Haanja are ideal for cycling and hiking.
