Kuningamägi hill in Põltsamaa has an exciting new addition – a slope for mountain sports that is open to all skiing and snowboarding enthusiasts!On the slope with a 140-metre ascent, you can ride the snowboard or ski for about a couple of hundred metres. The profile of the track is intended for beginners and intermediate enthusiasts, but is also suitable for more experienced athletes. A lift takes you to the hill and you will find small jumps, pipes, and boxes when descending.It is also possible to rent a small amount of snowboard equipment (board, boots, clips, helmet) on site.Kuningamäe ski trails and a sledding hill are also nearby.

Join the long-distance sled dog team training in Tartu County and experience something that not everyone can! Meanwhile, we will unveil the behind-the-scenes of the sled dog world – discussing training methods, competitions, and the unique aspects of the dogs' work. You will be guided by Estonia's first musher to participate in long-distance races, Heinrich Lukk, whose experience extends to the challenging tracks of Norway and Finland. During the training, you will see a racing team of eight Alaskan huskies in action and practicing simpler practical tasks. The training lasts 2 to 3 hours, takes place from September to November, and is suitable for only one participant at a time, which makes the experience personal and special. Put on rubber boots or hiking shoes, choose weatherproof clothing, and come to Tartu County for an adventure that will be remembered for a lifetime!

Come and experience an adventure at the Agirregoikoa Kennel with Nordic sled dogs! A kennel visit lasts approximately 1.5-2 hours, during which you can enjoy a 1.5 km long sled ride. After the ride, you can walk with the dogs and pet and cuddle them. Choose your favorite dog, take selfies, capture a memorable moment with a large group photo, and enjoy hot tea or coffee. We warm up and share stories about the dog breed and history. Sled dogs are therapy for children. We do sled rides with snow and cart rides without snow. Only kennel visits are offered during the summer period.

During the four-hour hike, we will walk a few long and a couple of short kilometres in Laukasoo mire. We will visit Pähklisaar, which is a military heritage and a primeval nature site. Pähklisaar is a swamp island in Laukasoo, surrounded by picturesque swamp lakes, additionally, a century-old aspen grows there. It is said that a Swedish king's gold and silver treasure is buried on Pähklisaare and has not yet been found, which adds to the excitement. Pähklisaar, as many other swamp islands, was used by the Forest Brothers as a location for their bunker. We will also take a look at a milled peat production area.Everyone that can walk in snow, can also walk with bogshoes in a swamp.
