The Tamula lake beach is located in the city of Võru. The beach is interestingly designed, modernly landscaped and maintained, equipped with changing cabins and attractions offering various activities. You can play football and volleyball, climb on the net, build sandcastles, sunbathe on the grass or sandy beach. The beach promenade, 800 meters long, starts at the Tamula hotel and extends to the Roosisaare bridge. During the swimming season, lifeguards ensure safety. On the beach playground, children are welcomed in summer by climbing nets, ball courts, and various swings. In addition, it is pleasant to walk or simply enjoy the moment by Tamula lake — the mirror-like surface of the lake and birdsong create a peaceful atmosphere in every season. Tartu Snow Park offers a total of eight hectares of sled and tube tracks – a true snow paradise. There are seven snow tube tracks at the Tartu Snow Park, all of which have different speeds and lengths and therefore, they are suitable for toddlers, teenagers, and adults. Otepää Winterplace – four months of winter fun for the entire family!Otepää Winterplace is a winter fun park for the entire family that offers various leisure activities in the Linnamäe Valley in the centre of Otepää. Here, you will find snowtubing tracks and tube rental, sledging and skiing slopes, Zipfy sledges for hire, a skating rink and igloo cinema. Children of various ages, teenagers and adults alike can find something exiting to do here.

Anyone interested in horseback riding can try it out in Tamme Tall.We give private lessons and there are three ponies for children waiting in the stable.You can even test your skills by jumping over some obstacles.We organise riding camps for both young and old. You can even spend the night at the Tamme Tall Holiday House. It is possible to swim with horses by Lake Võrtsjärv, ride in the woods, grill, and go to the sauna. You can also book us for events or birthdays.

In the city centre of Tartu, around the new Tartu Environmental Education Centre, there is a large park covering 10,000 m² and containing a large number of species. Old and ancient trees meet newly designed park trails offering learning and recreational possibilities in the hilly park. The park is home to over 80 species of trees and shrubs and over 200 species of herbaceous plants.A visitor can find peat, butterfly, and vegetable beds in the park; there is also a man-made beaver nest, a sun dial, a fountain, an observation tower, and a study trail about rocks. The old orchard has also been preserved. Children can have fun at the otter slide, a three-sand sandbox, and a carousel. Park facilities and plants are introduced by several information boards.
