Kääriku recreational trails

Otepää vald, Valga maakond, 67309

In summer you can hike on the Kääriku recreational trails and in winter you can ski along the hills and valleys of the Otepää Upland. All the skiing, running, cycling and hiking trails are signposted, so you will always find your way safely back to the starting point. There are three hiking trails — the Running Track (5 km), the Lakeside Circuit (2.3 km) and the Seinamägi Hill Circuit (4.6 km). The latter is of particular interest to extreme sports enthusiasts. The Kekkonen hiking trail is perfect for cycling, and you can also cycle along the quiet bicycle and pedestrian track between Kääriku and Lake Pühajärv. The maps of the trails can be found on the homepage of Kääriku Sports Center.

Kuningamäe health trails

Kuningamäe health trails are waiting for you in Põltsamaa, Central Estonia! Three marked trails are open for runners, walkers, and cyclists: 1.1, 1.5, and 5 km.At the beginning of the trail, there is a health trail map, a stretching wall, a bike rack, and a parking area for cars. There is also the Kuningamäe Disc Golf Park. In winter, lighted ski trails are open on Kuningamäe.

Hummuli health trail

While hiking at Hummuli health trail everyone can feel like becoming one with nature - silence, peace and nature's voices invite you to come back over and over again.The trail starts from Hummuli Manor School, passes the stadium and runs along the long oak alley to the Väike-Emajõgi river.There are an outdoor gym, discgolf courses, a campfire site for having a picnic, and a boat bridge suitable for fishing at the health trail. Hummuli health trail can be completed by walking, running, riding a bike or skiing in winter. The visitor can choose either the 2.2 km or 2.8 km trail, which are mostly covered with mulch.

Pühajärve-Kääriku Ski Track

The 10 km Pühajärve-Kääriku ski track is suitable for skiers and hikers who want to enjoy the magic of winter. It starts either by the Pühajärve Spa & Holiday Resort or at Kääriku Sport Centre. The 2.5 km Sihva-Kääriku section is lit until 9 pm. The track has a simple relief and is well-suited for amateur skiers. In Kääriku, you can continue your skiing hike on the Kääriku ski tracks of different lengths. You can hire skis in Otepää ski rentals.Come and enjoy the magical landscape of Otepää!

Mooska Adventure Trips

Mooska Adventure Trips offer a great opportunity to learn about Võru County's smoke sauna traditions and heritages. From smoking meat in the sauna during winter-time, to the smoking hole lined with stones method used in the summer. A hiking trip to Vällamägi in also available. According to the folk belief, Vällamägi is an especially sacred site and it fumes because it has an underground connection with the Baltic Sea. E-Bike Tour on the Trails of Taevaskoda

We will take you on a memorable bike ride on the beautiful trails of Taevaskoda. During the hike, we will see the watermill of Kiidjärve, peek into the bunker of the Forest Brothers, get to know the River Ahja and its valley, admire the sandstone outcrops of Taevaskoda and the forest trails under primeval trees. If we are lucky, we will get to see and hear kingfishers. We will also try to find the filming locations of "Viimne Reliikvia" (The Last Relic). With our E-Bikes, we will traverse the trails with ease, and all the leftover energy can be used to enjoy the views.You can take part in scheduled hikes or book a private tour for your group at a time suitable for you.

Tehvandi running and Nordic walking trail

The 5 km running, imitation and Nordic walking trail for trainings is accessible from the upper car park of Tehvandi main building near the stadium and next to the gate of the maintenance house; the trail starts in the middle of the rise of Kunimägi ski track and runs along the area of Hobuseraua, Püksisääre and Ansomägi. The trail has a though relief with difficult ascents and complex descents. The trail is partially covered by sawdust and marked with 15 x 15 cm boards of blue arrows. Pay attention when crossing ski scooter tracks!
