Vastseliina Castle is a place worth discovering in South Estonia — with 14th-century castle ruins, a sacred site, interactive activities, and interesting history. Vastseliina Castle Tavern is located in the former stable room of the historic Piiri Tavern, and the castle kitchen prepares medieval dishes inspired by historical recipes and festive table customs. The tavern is open daily during the summer months. In the autumn-winter season, guests can enjoy a rich medieval-inspired feast or more modest festive dishes by pre-order. All offered meals are prepared on-site in the castle kitchen, and the kitchen staff prefers to use as much local seasonal produce as possible. The tavern can also set up a welcome and coffee table if needed. Feasts are welcome for groups consisting of at least 20 and no more than 60 guests. In addition to the feast, you can order a castle tour or a suitable workshop. The castle staff requests that you inform them of your intention to visit at least five working days in advance.

If you love fish, this is the place for you! Pangodi fish restaurant offers tasty dishes made from zander, perch, and eel caught in Estonian waters. The menu includes classic herring fillets in cream sauce, marinated smoked eel, fried or baked pike perch, and pike fillets. We also offer high-quality trout and salmon from Norway. After a delicious fish dish, we recommend trying our excellent desserts as well.You can enjoy stunning views of Lake Pangodi from the terrace and play disc golf in the greenery surrounding the restaurant.

We are a small family business in Võru County, between the hills of Haanja and near the beautiful Lake Alajärv. Our organic farm grows sea-buckthorn and grapes on Servamägi Hill (222 meters high). We make berry and fruit wines from our own and other local raw ingredients. We offer a year-round educational ‘wine tour’, during which we will explore the secrets of wine-making and then, taste three wines with snacks. During the summer season from May to October, we will go on a tour on the berry field. We will also hold a fun quiz on wines. There is a farm shop.

Terra is a restaurant in Tartu with seasonal cuisine and good wine, located in the historic Era Villa building. Our kitchen is based on fresh ingredients, clear flavors, and seasonality — the menu changes according to what is best at the moment. Terra does not aim to be too complicated, but precise: good ingredients, thoughtful techniques, and a plate with a purpose. Wine holds an important place at Terra. Our wine list brings together small producers, grower champagnes, exciting European wine regions, and characterful wines that are often not found on large lists. If desired, we help choose wine to accompany the food or offer a paired wine package. Terra is suitable for a peaceful dinner, special celebrations, and smaller private events. Located in South Estonia, near Otepää, Murimäe Winery gladly welcomes visitors. Our hostess takes guests on a walk to an authentic vineyard, shows them the production rooms, and explains how high-quality Estonian handcrafted wine is made in the wine cellar. At the end of the tour, we offer Murimäe wines for tasting, and those interested can purchase wine to take home.The visit takes place both outdoors and indoors and lasts 1.5-2 hours. Available by pre-order, even daily.You can also come with a group just to taste our wines. We organize various training courses and adventurous team activities, and you can also stay overnight.
