We are an undoubtedly fun pub in the centre of Elva. The name of our pub is ÜksTeist. The motto of the pub is to be there for each other. We want you to visit us as if you were visiting an old friend. Regardless of whether you are old or young, you are always welcome here. You will be greeted by a cheerful staff and a good meal. When it comes to the youngest of your family, we will offer them colouring pencils and some white paper, which is just waiting to be drawn on. We offer the chance of holding different events here. In summer, we will also open the outdoor terrace.

The Onion Road has many layers of flavours. During the tour, we will discover the local culture through all of them. Participants will learn the secrets of Ivan Chai, eat the famous onion pies of Kostja, taste chicory cake and coffee, and drink local craft wines.In addition, we will make a bag with block printing, learn the story of the Old Believers and the Baltic German landlords, and find out how the locals grow onions.It is possible to order the tour with (additional 150 euros) or without a guide.We will choose the dishes and places in accordance with your wishes and the season.

La Storia is the newest restaurant in Põlva. We opened our doors in December 2018. We offer delicious Italian dishes, wonderful interior, and excellent service. Italian ice cream can be enjoyed on our sunny summer terrace. Our pizzas are highly appreciated by our customers, and the seafood soup is also a favourite among visitors. Kadaka Bakery is a fairy-tale-like place, created by hostess Merle using recycled materials. In the bakery, traditional Estonian rye bread is baked using natural sourdough, as are buckwheat bread, cinnamon rolls, waffles, juniper-coriander bread, sweet and savory pretzels, pumpkin cake, Italian-style focaccia, rye crisps, and cookies. A visit to the bakery offers experiences in every season and is suitable for the whole family. In the beautifully designed garden, goats, chickens, cats, and mini rabbits can be seen in spring and summer. Regular bread-making workshops and summer garden concerts are held in the bakery. Kadaka Bakery is well-suited for various team events and special gatherings, such as birthday celebrations. Come and experience authentic Estonian bread culture!
Mäe-Koda is a tiny home café in the heart of Riidaja Manor that has been open since 2016. We welcome everyone who appreciates manor culture and history. The cosy and romantic café creates a pleasant atmosphere for spending time with family and friends. Your idea, our implementation!We also cater for smaller groups and the smallest family members are also welcome. We also bake cakes and kringels as well as prepare snacks and grazing tables. By the way, our mango cake has been awarded the Mulgi Märk (Mulgi label). We are open by appointment only, but we take orders 24/7.
