The magnificent Neo-Renaissance style manor with a white main building was built during the time of G. J. Mannteuffel in 1860. In 1918, Julius Kuperjanov established a partisan battalion in Puurmani castle.At present, the castle houses the Puurmani Upper Secondary School.You can visit Puurmani castle and learn about its history in the course of the Forgotten Manors program during the visiting days in the summer. You can also order a tour of the manor house, manor park and the entire Jõgeva County. In the manor, we will look around different floors where you can see the countess's boudoir, a secret door leading to the tower, as well as the count's study and treasury. Apteekri puhvet (Pharmacist’s buffet) prepares delicious homely dishes from local raw ingredients and bread made with leaven. The buffet is located in an old pharmacy, the interior of which has been kept as similar to the original as possible.The buffet is a perfect venue for birthdays, wakes, and other exciting theme events. We serve both groups and walk-in guests. We also make confectionery products upon order.Good to know: we also organise workshops (bread workshop, candle-making workshop, felting workshop, etc.).

This canoe trip in South Estonia, on the Võhandu River through a primeval valley, is suitable for anyone looking for untouched nature, adventure, and beautiful views! We organize canoe trips along the most attractive sections of the Võhandu River; trips can last from two hours to three days. The river valley is popular with hikers for its unique sandstone outcrops. The canoe trip includes equipment (canoes, paddles, life jackets, waterproof bags), instruction, shore security, and a car transfer to the endpoint.
