Tartu Devil’s Bridge

Kavilda Valley is one of the most beautiful natural objects in Tartu County. The Kavild River a flows in the valley. Sandstone outcrops and springs can be seen in some places. The Kavilda sacrificial spring at the edge of the Tartu-Viljandi road is the best known of them. The valley starts near Elva, is about 19 km long and runs into the Emajõgi lowland. The Kavilda River flows in the valley. There is a marshy meadow with reservoirs on its banks. The width of the protected part of the valley is approximately 1 km.

Internationally renowned wildlife photographers, led by Phil Gould, have created a first-class luxury hide in South Estonia, allowing you to capture stunning nature images comfortably. Built in the middle of the Estonian wilderness, the hide has also been described as one of the best wildlife photography and observation facilities in Europe! Here, you can experience Estonia's changing seasons, diverse bird and animal species, and ever-changing views throughout the year. The hide has space for up to 24 photographers, a meeting room with WiFi, and a kitchenette. Don't forget to bring comfortable slippers when you come to the hide!

The beautiful Taevaskoda, which offers different hiking opportunities (with bikes, scooters, kick sledges, skis), is nearby. The River Ahja isn not that far either, and this is one of the best and most beautiful canoeing rivers in South Estonia.There are two holiday houses with a sauna, WC, kitchenette, fireplace, refrigerator and TV. There are also four huts, two for two people and two for three people (shower and toilet in a separate building). We also have a camping and caravan site, barbecue facilities and a smoking oven. Tartu County Recreational Sports Center Hostel is nestled in the pine forests of Elva, offering athletes, active families, and pets comfortable accommodation and a variety of additional services. The hostel can accommodate up to 38 guests in the courtyard house and offers modern amenities, including a kitchen and saunas. The center features conference rooms, barbecue areas, various sports facilities, including a gym, archery range, shooting range, and sports equipment rental, as well as pleasant forest and hiking trails for exercise. The Aura Centre sauna centre has saunas, pleasant baths, and cooling options for every taste. The sauna centre also has a cozy relaxation area and an outdoor terrace with an igloo sauna and two jacuzzis, one of which is refreshingly cold and the other pleasantly warm. There are 8 different saunas in the sauna centre – steam saunas with different temperatures, a juniper sauna, a salt rock sauna, an aroma sauna, a steam aroma sauna, a sanarium, and an igloo sauna. There are 11 different saunas in total. You can cool off in the crisp winter room or by using the facilities offered by the ice machine, cold water bucket, or cool bath. In addition to cooling off in a cool bath, you can relax in warm jacuzzis and a 40-degree Japanese bath. With a ticket to the sauna centre, you can also visit the Aura Keskus water park, where you can find slides and many other water attractions, as well as a desert, tropical, and rain room. In the unique rain room in Estonia, you can choose exactly the kind of rain you like – be it a gentle forest rain or a tropical storm. Come and enjoy great relaxation in the center of Tartu!

In Tartu Hansahoov, you can enjoy a private igloo sauna and a hot tub with an antechamber for up to 12 people.The cosy sauna complex, which is furnished in Hanseatic style, can accommodate smaller gatherings with friends, family, or colleagues. The igloo sauna and hot tub can be rented together or separately.The cost of a hot tub is 100 euros, regardless of the time of use.The igloo sauna costs 50 euros per hour (minimum three hours). Towels are included in the price.In addition, you can buy food and drinks from the tavern in the same complex.
