Boat trips on Lake Peipsi take you to Estonia's largest lake aboard the historic cruise ship Arabella I. Built in 1922 and recently fully renovated, Arabella I is the oldest ship in use in Estonia. On board, you will find a cozy lounge, café area, modern amenities, and a peaceful atmosphere suitable for families, romantics, and culture enthusiasts. Cruises depart by arrangement from Tartu or the Emajõe-Suursoo Center, and the ship can also be booked for special events – from birthdays and seminars to photo sessions and festive receptions. The Tamme-Lauri oak is Estonia's largest oak tree. It has a circumference of 8 m (measured at a height of 130 cm) and is approximately 800 years old. The trunk has been filled with reinforced concrete. The Tamme-Lauri oak was named after Laurits, the god of fire, who was said to live in the oak and bring misfortune, but also sometimes good to the surrounding farms. The farm located near the oak is also known as Tamme-Lauri. The Tamme-Lauri oak was featured on the back of the Estonian ten kroon banknote. Signs leading to the site of the oak tree are found along the Urvaste-Kanepi highway.

On the shores of Lake Võrtsjärv, you will find the Kiviranna recreation centre and its two holiday homes – TORM (STORM) and TUUL (WIND). Each house can accommodate up to six people. There is a bedroom with four single beds (extra beds can also be provided) on the first floor of both houses. On the ground floor, there is a sofa bed for two. The houses have a kitchenette and the necessary kitchenware. The living room has a TV and a stereo system, and a small library for younger and older guests alike. The longest river in Estonia, the Võhandu River, is calm when it reaches Räpina, and therefore it was probably the most suitable place for building a unique mill complex comprising three mills.The flour mill is a massive stone building with a large winch on the top floor for lifting bags. The original doors and many other details integral to the overall design have been preserved. The flour mill was built at the end of the 18th century.

Welcome to the recreation area by Rahinge reservoir (4 km from Tartu).The recreation area has a swimming area, village square and ball courts. The swimming area has a sandy beach, a large float bridge and a changing cabin. The village square has a 500 m2 tent for events, dance floor, stands and a flag pole. Ball courts are suitable for beach football, beach volleyball and beach tennis.Nearby, you find Rahinge Extreme Sports Park. There, you can enjoy the mind-boggling stunts of extreme athletes and try copying those yourself. The park has the necessary equipment.This is a great place for a birthday party or a company event.
