Rõsma Holiday Resort, located in Setomaa, directly on the shore of Lake Lämmijärv, fishermen can rent boats and families can rent water bikes. Good to know: in the winter, we offer accommodation for up to 14 people. In the summer, we can accommodate 39 people and we have an unlimited number of camping sites. The Kambja health trails offer everyone the opportunity to be active in nature all year round. The health trails are located near the small town of Kambja, near Kopsumäe and Köstrimäe. The trail offers wide views, forest roads, and some ups and downs.In addition to the marked trails that start and end in the car park (5 and 7.5 km trail), everyone can choose a trail that suits them best!There is a MOBO trail with 15 checkpoints for orienteering enthusiasts. The health trails are also great for Nordic walking and cycling. In snowy winters, everyone is welcome to the cross-country skiing trails and the Kambja–Pangodi ski trail.
The 7-kilometre-long Rebäse landscape trail is located in the Karula National Park. The trail runs through old farm landscapes, passing the oldest farmstead in the area and the Linnamägi hill with traces of settlement from the Early Iron Age. Hikers can climb up the local "Mount Ararat", see Lake Raudjärv with its ice-cold water, and admire one of the largest gullies of Karula upland.You may need sturdy boots to pass the trail because in rainy weather the trail might be muddy and the boardwalk slippery. The trail also passes pastures, so you might encounter curious but generally friendly cows. Be careful around farm fences, they may be electric!

We invite you to visit Rooswald Red Winery, where rustic blueberry wines are crafted using our farm's own cultivated blueberries. During the tasting, you can sample wines made at the winery and hear the story of how a lucky coincidence in 2016 sparked a passion for winemaking and eventually led to the establishment of Rooswald Red winery. Every year, we experiment with new recipes and improve existing ones, making each wine unique and unparalleled. The quantities are small and available only at the farm. Metsa Farm is home to one of Estonia's oldest cultivated blueberry plantations. During the visit, we will walk through the plantation, talk about blueberry cultivation, and the birth story of Estonia's first cultivated blueberry variety 'Are', which is named after the first name of the owner of Metsa Farm. Unique Rooswald Red blueberry wines from dry to semi-sweet and blueberry seedlings can be purchased at the farm. We look forward to your visit!
The Miikse St. John the Baptist Church is a small wooden Orthodox church located in the southeastern corner of Estonia in Setomaa. What makes this church special is its story. It was built in 1953, during the Soviet era, when religion and church construction were not encouraged. However, the local people took a bold step and built the church themselves, often working in the evenings and at night to avoid the authorities' attention. Today, Miikse Church is once again a symbol of the strength and perseverance of the Seto community, where the local community restored the dilapidated sanctuary into a new and striking Seto church. The altar and icons were preserved, but the new facade features a lace-like pattern using Seto colors (red, blue, and sheep's wool white) and Seto belt patterns. The church's surroundings also include an old cemetery and sacred stones, which lend the place a special historical and spiritual atmosphere. The church is open once a month during service, and at other times, access can be arranged by agreement with the church elder (who communicates in Estonian and Russian). For a foreign-language tour of Setomaa, we recommend booking a local guide.
Elistvere study trail is located in Elistvere village, Tartu County. The trail is 2 km long back and forth and starts at the Elistvere Animal Park. At the end of the study trail you will find the magical Lake Elistvere with an observation tower offering a great view to the flora surrounding the lake and animals running in the bushy greenery. The information boards at the road help the visitors and there are several observation platforms. The trail can be completed in a wheelchair and with a children's stroller as well.The study trail can be accessed only during the opening hours of the animal park. The animal park has an entrance fee.
