Mokko is suitable for those who love nature, peace and quiet. We can accommodate individual tourists, families with children and groups of up to 40 people. A small group or a company can organize an event or a training here without being disturbed by other visitors.
Our guests can use a large hall and a fully-equipped seminar room in the main building; you will be accommodated in two suites with all conveniences and two double rooms on the first floor of the main building and in six double rooms with all conveniences in the new barn.In addition, you can rent the privately located sauna by the pond (up to 4 people) and our outbuilding (up to 4 people).

  • Manors

Ahja Manor

Ahja Manor dates back to the Middle Ages (from 1553). The two-storey main building of the baroque Ahja Manor with a half-hipped roof, completed in the late 1740s, was one of the most luxurious in Southern Estonia at that time. In the years 1929–1997, a school operated in the manor house.In 2007, there was a fire in the building and only the walls remained. Several smaller buildings have been preserved from the manor, although most of them have been rebuilt. There is also a beautiful park with a pond which is under nature and heritage protection.The manor with the park is known to many thanks to the book Little Illimar based on the childhood memories of the folk writer Friedebert Tuglas from Ahja.

This family-friendly home café with one-of-a-kind interior design is located in the city centre of Jõgeva and aims to serve home-cooked food in a cosy environment. From time to time, you can also enjoy live music here. It is a wonderful place for spending time with your family and friends.During summer season, outdoor café is also open.

  • Castles

Sillapää Castle

Räpina Mäemõisa Manor House, also known as Sillapää Castle representing the Late Classical style was built in the middle of the 19th century. The centre and annexes of the original building had two storeys which were connected with one-storey galleries. The rear of the building is decorated by four Ionic columns with triangular pediment portico. In 1924 the predecessor of the gardening school started its activities in the building. During 1937-1938 the castle was reconstructed as a fully two-storey building. Today the Manor House accommodates the Räpina Local Lore and Gardening Museum, the Räpina Music School and the Räpina Folk School.

Workshop «Baking home made bread»

In the Bread Room one can make their first attempts in baking homemade bread. The Wood Shop’s breadmaster will guide you through the process of the perfect bread dough, and show you all the good ingredients and the secret components to a well risen dough and delicious taste. In the end of the workshop the Bread Room is full of irritatingly good bread baking fragrance. And of course no one is leaving without tasting the outcome of this exciting workshop and you can also take the leaven to go, to keep up the new learned skill of breadmaking. And if later there’s a need for a bread basket, Avinurme Wood-Shop can offer exactly what you need.

War of Independence Memorial Column

The memorial column erected in 1928 to commemorate those who fell in the War of Independence stands in the park next to Tõrva Upper Secondary School. The author of the monument is Aleksander Eller. The monument was taken down by local communist authorities during the Second World War in 1940 and it was reopened on Victory Day, 23 June 1990.Interesting facts: Schoolboys gave the monument the friendly name Juku.

Sculpture Bronze Pig

The sculpture was created by Mati Karmin and unveiled in front of the Tartu Market on 17 January 2008.The steel barrel rests on a granite base and the numbers and letters cut into the base inform the viewer that the date when the sculpture was opened, 17 January, is St Anthony’s Day when old Estonians used to turn their attention to the pig.
