The monument consists of the number 100,000 carved of granite with the bronze sculpture of a child sitting on number 1. The monument celebrating the birth of the 100,000th Tartu resident was initially located in the green area between the former Restaurant Kaunas and the Võidu Bridge. The monument was moved onto the banks of the Emajõgi River between Atlantis and Kaarsild.

After the Second World War, the Baptist congregations in Tartu joined the only remaining Baptist church: the Kolgata congregation, whose chapel was opened in 1931.In 2013, the congregation moved from the old prayer house located in Karlova district to a modern church building (completed in 1995) at the edge of the centre of the city due to lack of space. Luunja Rose Garden is a beautiful, unique, and popular concert venue with a stunning view by the Emajõgi River. It has a long history and a total of 58 rose varieties grow there. To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Estonia, a new rose variety called Luunja by Estonian rose breeder Mart Ojasalu was planted in the rose garden. It is dedicated to locals and all Estonians.It is a unique variety, the aim of which is to give the people of Luunja municipality, above all, a sense of togetherness and to leave future generations with an admirable rose garden.

In the former tavern building by the Piusa River, the Vasekoja Guesthouse on the second floor offers comfortable rooms (2 triple and 2 quadruple), shower rooms, and a relaxation and kitchen area with a refrigerator, microwave, and kettle. There is also a playground, swings, and a trampoline. You can also rent our sauna and bathing barrel.Koogi Reservoir is located at 2 km and Lake Saadjärv at 5 km from the holiday farm. Both of them feature nicely arranged beaches with breathtaking landscapes. In addition, the Ice Age Centre, Elistvere Animal Park, and Vudila Playland are close by.

In Tartu Hansahoov, you can enjoy a private igloo sauna and a hot tub with an antechamber for up to 12 people.The cosy sauna complex, which is furnished in Hanseatic style, can accommodate smaller gatherings with friends, family, or colleagues. The igloo sauna and hot tub can be rented together or separately.The cost of a hot tub is 100 euros, regardless of the time of use.The igloo sauna costs 50 euros per hour (minimum three hours).
