La Dolce Vita is an Italian restaurant which opened its doors in 2003. Its Italian owners serve up traditional dishes from their country. Its pizzas are made in a wood-fired oven which is unique in Tartu, and there is a wide range of pasta dishes to choose from. Some pasta is imported from Italy, while the rest is made on site. The menu also features traditional meat dishes. The quality of La Dolce Vita's menu is reflected in its simple, authentic components: Mozzarella and Parmesan cheese, tomatoes and olive oil. In the summer months you can enjoy the warmer weather on the restaurant's terrace. Every year, we experiment with new recipes and improve existing ones, making each wine unique and unparalleled. The quantities are small and available only at the farm. Metsa Farm is home to one of Estonia's oldest cultivated blueberry plantations. During the visit, we will walk through the plantation, talk about blueberry cultivation, and the birth story of Estonia's first cultivated blueberry variety 'Are', which is named after the first name of the owner of Metsa Farm. Unique Rooswald Red blueberry wines from dry to semi-sweet and blueberry seedlings can be purchased at the farm. We look forward to your visit!

The medieval Gothic church is located on the ancient Pirita–Vastseliina pilgrim route. The white walls of the sanctuary are characterised by narrow and high round arched windows and beautiful relief motifs on the western façade.The organ used in Puhja Church is a rarity throughout Europe. It is estimated that only 10 other similar organs have survived. Those who wish can also go to see the spire or visit the church museum of Puhja parsonage.Good to know:The church participates in the Wayfarers Churches and the Night of Churches programmes.Worship every Sunday at 11 a.m. The church can also be visited by prior arrangement.

Tartu Old Believers Prayer House is a small and cosy house of God in the hall under the tower of a large and impressive prayer house destroyed by bombing during the war. This is the only part of the house the congregation has managed to restore by today. You can also see icons from the 19th century and the works of local 20th century icon painters in the Tartu Old Believers Prayer House.Service in Russian takes place at 10 a.m. on Sundays.
