Central Estonian Art Gallery pART

Lossi tn 1a, Põltsamaa vald, Jõgeva maakond, 48103

Gallery pART is located in the Põltsamaa Castle complex; it is an unheated extreme gallery built in a loft, and as we all know: ART is not afraid of the cold. There is a new exhibition of professional art in Gallery pART every month. Interesting information: the gallery consists of two parts; Gallery pART with contemporary lighting has a total surface are of 200 square metres. Gallery pART was established by the members of Art Society.

Pallas Gallery

The Pallas Gallery is a contemporary, ever-evolving art space where you can experience fresh Estonian art and ideas from young creators. Exhibitions change approximately every five weeks, offering new experiences each time. The exhibitions feature works by students, lecturers, and alumni of the Pallas University of Applied Sciences, providing a good overview of contemporary Estonian art. The gallery's aim is to introduce and popularize contemporary art in Tartu, bringing the creations of both young authors and collaborative partners to visitors. The spacious main hall is located in the center of Tartu, offering an inspiring setting for enjoying art. In addition, various cultural and educational events are held in the gallery, making the visit more diverse. The gallery is free for everyone to visit, making it an especially good opportunity to get acquainted with contemporary art in Tartu. Come and be inspired at the Pallas Gallery!

Lasva Water Tower Gallery

The old Lasva Water Tower is home to a gallery where you can get to know the history of the Lasva area and enjoy photo and art exhibitions. A unique attraction in the water tower is its musical piano staircase, which plays different sounds as you step on the stairs going up to the tower. The old water tank in the tower features different seasonal exhibitions. On its grass roof there is a telescope that you can use to take a look at the neighbourhood or for late-night stargazing. Within a stone’s throw is Lasva Village Wood Park, where you will encounter animal figures.

Piusa Pottery ceramics studio

Piusa Pottery is a ceramics studio open to the public. Visitors can watch traditional, as well as unique works of art and handicraft items being created before their very eyes. There is an exhibition of ceramics created by Signe and Meelis Krigul. You can also buy items that take your fancy. In addition, you can order custom-made ceramic items according to your requirements and wishes. If you register in advance, we can organize ceramic courses and workshops, +372 5322 9442. Piusa Pottery is located in a former railway station building not far from the Piusa caves and sandstone bluff.

Kogo Gallery

Kogo Gallery is an internationally operating contemporary art gallery located in Tartu's Aparaaditehas. The gallery focuses on a younger generation of artists and supports their international visibility by introducing their work to a wider audience. Kogo's mission is to foster free creation, interdisciplinary thinking, imagination, and novel ideas, and to initiate and maintain creative relationships by bringing together creative individuals and art enthusiasts. The gallery's diverse exhibition program features both solo projects by artists and curator-created exhibitions. In addition to exhibitions, Kogo organizes a variety of public programs at the gallery. The gallery also involves experts from different fields in its activities to develop dialogue on important societal issues. Kogo Gallery offers visitors numerous art experiences, including exhibitions and art sales, art rental for special events, gallery tours for groups, gallery space rental for special events, and curating and advising art collectors.

Võru Town Gallery

Võru Town Gallery focuses on promoting art and cultural activities in Võru, on introducing professional art and organising exhibitions and exhibition-sales.For expositions the gallery mostly uses the balcony lobby on the 1st floor of the Võru Community Centre, called Kannel, and the room in front of the small hall. There are also exhibitions in the lobby of the ground floor. All rooms are equipped with modern spotlights that move along buses.
