Did you know that historically, there were nine manor houses in Tartu? The city of Tartu has expanded in all directions to the areas of former manors, and several districts have been named after these manors. Seven of them still exist and are waiting for you to visit.As part of the guided tour 'Tartu City Manors', we will visit five manors: Tähtvere, Maarjamõisa, Tamme, Ropka, and Karlova. You are greeted in Witch Country by senior witch Uhti, who will lead you to the Secret Witch's Trail. There you will encounter a range of obstacles and other surprises. Afterwards, while relaxing in the barbecue area, witch August will prepare something special for you. You can also cook something for yourself, and try a special witch potion. There are also games and competitions with prizes, and dancing with the witches themselves! The adventure lasts for around two hours and costs €200 for a group of up to 30 people. Every additional person costs €4.

Stanislaw Rogosinsky, a native of Poland, established the Rogosi Manor. From 1629 to 1776 the manor belonged to Herman von Liebsdorff and was later given to the von Glasenapp family as Herman's daughter's dowry. From 1934, after the Glasenapp family was dispossessed of the manor, a school operates in the manor. When place names were translated into Estonian in 1939, the village was named Ruusmäe, but the manor is still known as Rogosi. In summer 1990, Otto von Glasenapp, son of the owner of the manor visited his old home.Useful information: There is a museum of local lore in the barbican, which is open in summer. Watercolors of Joh. Chr. Brotze have been preserved as sources of the manor's history.

Pedaja Holiday Farm cabins and camping area are located in a scenic natural setting, in the midst of a young birch forest. Here, you can relax in peace surrounded by beautiful nature. The two- or four-person cabins are perfect for unwinding while listening to birdsong, and with a bit of luck, you might spot roe deer walking nearby. The larger cabin is equipped with electricity and a radiator, while the smaller one offers more modest conditions. A fully equipped shared kitchen, toilets, and saunas are located nearby. For a pleasant stay, there is a campfire site and barbecue facilities next to the cabins. Campers are also warmly welcome.

The northern shore of Lake Kuremaa is home to the only beach in Jõgeva County manned by lifeguards. Here you will find a 250-metre stretch of golden sand, aquabikes and boat hire, a beachfront cafe, a playground, areas for ball games, a caravan park and more. You can also camp here. The swimming area is marked by buoys. The water temperature is measured constantly, with information provided on special stands.

This family-friendly home café with one-of-a-kind interior design is located in the city centre of Jõgeva and aims to serve home-cooked food in a cosy environment. From time to time, you can also enjoy live music here. It is a wonderful place for spending time with your family and friends.During summer season, outdoor café is also open.

The uninhabited Salosaar is located in Lämmijärv, about 1.5 km from the mouth of River Võhandu. It is one of the thirty islands of Lake Peipus. The island is special thanks to its nature, history, and the fact that Lake Pskov starts at the eastern coast of the island. This means that during one trip, you can visit two lakes!The guided Robinsonade to Salosaar and back lasts for about two hours. During it, we will move on the lake with kicksleds and stop on the island. We will explore a colony of cormorants, take a look at Russia, see an old farm and the German line of defence, and admire the view from the high shore of the island.More information is available on our website.

Emajõe City Beach is located on the left bank of the Emajõgi River in Tartu’s Ülejõe district and is a popular place among locals during the summer. There is a sandy beach for sunbathing. There are various attractions for children: swings, climbing equipment and a slide. During the summer months, the coast guard also works during the day.On the city side of the beach, you will find the Lodjakoda, which operates as centre for building historical ships and a theme park as well as a museum, where adults and children alike can see how barges are made. This is also the harbour where viking and barge trips start.
