The main exposition of the Lake Museum is live Estonian freshwater fish. Our freshwater fish are not exhibited elsewhere in Estonia in such species quantity.About half of Estonia's freshwater fish live here, including more exotic species, as well as turtles, lake balls, and crayfish.You can visit 2 floor aquariums and 2 large cylindrical aquariums. There are more than 25 different aquariums in total. There is also a collection of fishing gear, an exhibition of primitive fish, and much more!You can book a sauna raft for a pleasure cruise or a sauna session and use a seminar room with a million-dollar view. During summers, a café is open.

In August 2020, five team houses were added to the Kääriku Sports Centre. The team houses are for athletes, athletic families, and groups of friends.Each building can accommodate 12 guests who can use the house with a sauna, a lounge, and six separate bedrooms. The houses are located next to the new ball games hall, on a slope. The houses are close to trails, Kekkose ski track, and the ball games hall.
Tartu Railway Station was built in 1876 outside of the city’s borders. It could be reached by Maarjamõisa tänav, which was lined with trees. The main building of the station consists of three parts and has a standard façade and a transverse gabled roof. Warehouses, platforms, a depot, a water tower, and two houses for railway workers were located next to the main building. In the 2000s, the building was restored under the architect Aivar Roosaar. In 2012, the building was reopened for passengers. Café Wedur is now operating in the station building. In front of the station are bike parking, and Tartu Smart Bike rental docks.
Sääniku Farm Holiday Centre is located on the edge of Kavilda Valley, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It is 25 km from Tartu and 13 km from Elva.The Holiday Centre is a perfect place for a family vacation, weddings, trainings, camps, and for simply enjoying the nature. Here, you can enjoy a smoke- and a Finnish sauna. The complex includes a swing, a health trail, a barbeque house, a ball court, and a children's playground, outdoor kitchen. A hike that combines physical activity, fresh air, and a sense of history!Come alone, bring a friend or all of them, and enjoy a scooter hike in the magnificent atmosphere of Setomaa in the landscapes and villages near Lake Lämmijärv. We will ride along the old lake bed, through pine forests, pass ancient settlements and burial mounds, until we reach a traditional well-preserved Seto residence.The hike starts and ends at the parking lot of the Mäe Nature House of the State Forest Management Centre. Turgi Handicraft Farm offers a creative holiday by weaving on looms.The selection includes various several-day courses, because the hostess Veinika Västrik introduces the basics of weaving to the beginners and more complex weaving techniques to the more experienced participants. In the leather studio workshop, you can make a personalised keychain under the guidance of the leather designer Tiina Andron. Different metal studs, leathers, rivets, and key rings are used. The workshop is suitable for everyone (from school age).
