Although West Estonia is known to most of people as a place to observe migratory birds in the spring, then Southeast Estonia is almost as fascinating. At Lämmijärv and its surrounding region it is possible to encounter various migratory waterfowls and local eagles. In addition, we also have virgin forests with rivers and wetlands, where one can observe different species of owls, woodpeckers, hazel grouses and forest birds such as crossbills, northern goshawks, river kingfishers, etc. You can encounter a moose or hear the howling of a wolf. I offer tours for both beginners (binoculars and a fieldscope are included in the price) and experienced observers - from 3 hours to several days, including accommodation. Smoke sauna is a good place for a long humid steaming session. This is something for true sauna aficionados. Between the sauna sessions, you can dip in the waves of Lake Lämmijärv only a few steps away. In our sauna, the use of a viht is allowed. The sauna platform has enough room for 5 people. The smoke sauna is in a separate building right on the lake shore.
The night hike with lanterns is an adventure! The guided hike with lanterns is a great idea for celebrating a birthday, a corporate event, an outing with friends or family or introducing Estonian nature to guests. Spend the romantic hours of twilight with the lantern hike on a bog's boardwalk or on snowshoes. The hike with lanterns can last from 1.5 to 4 hours. Book the Forest Restaurant's catering for the end of the hike. You can also go on the night hike with kicksleds or snowshoes. Ask for suggestions on hiking areas, routes and beautiful campsites! The hikes take place all over Estonia. Minimum group fee is 300 € (up to 10 people.

There are written notes about the Nutti watermill in the Livonian Government paper from 1865. In 1870, it was recorded which lands in which size belonged to the watermill. The Nutti mill is also a landmark for land plots. Today, the well-preserved Peedu mill complex is privately owned and subject to heritage conservation.The watermill was reconstructed a few years ago and offers a beautiful view of the Elva River.There are other watermills on the river: the Hellenurme watermill in the upper course and Vapramäe and Mosina watermill in the middle course.
