The host of Mesi Tare will take your group on an adventure to Piirissaar, a small island in Lake Peipsi! We start from the Varnja Harbor, where the host will be waiting with a fishing boat. The boat trip lasts two hours, depending on the weather and water level. We will walk with a guide through Piirissaar's three villages and see all the important places on the island, including the Piirissaare Old Believers Museum, the location of the Old Believers' prayer house, the Orthodox church and the Piirissaare Titanic. For lunch, the guide will take you to Zinaida's home, where she will lay out a magnificent table for her guests. (Note: The food must be paid for on the spot.) The day ends with a boat trip back to Varnja.

Sailing along the Emajõgi River, over the Peipus, Võrtsjärv, and Saadjärv lakes, as well as out at sea, the Viking ship "Turm" is an open vessel which sets out on voyages between May and September each year. Able to accommodate up to 12 passengers: larger groups can take turns enjoying the Viking fun at sea or on shore. In addition to voyaging on water, you can take part in exciting Viking games, and show that you've got the strength required for the journey. Sailing on the "Turm" is best suited to older children, teenagers, young adults, and those who enjoy physical exercise.

A canoe trip is an excellent opportunity to discover Estonia's beautiful rivers and experience the importance of teamwork. A joint adventure on a body of water helps you get to know your companions better and develop cooperation skills. During the drier summer period, we paddle down larger rivers, where the water flows more calmly. During spring and autumn's high water seasons, there is an opportunity to discover less frequently visited waterways, such as the floods in Soomaa National Park. It is possible to order campfire meals or a bushcraft workshop to go along with your canoe trip. There is also the possibility of going on multi-day trips. The canoe raft consists of three interconnected canoes, to which a platform for comfort has been added. One canoe raft comfortably accommodates 6–11 people, four or six of whom will have to paddle. In total, we have four canoe rafts. You can have a picnic, take photos, catch fish, sunbathe, etc. on the canoe raft. Small children, grandparents, and even smaller pets are also welcome on the canoe raft trip.About 20 sandstone outcrops are exposed on the Taevaskoja reservoir, which makes it one of the most unique and beautiful lakes in Estonia. Take a picnic basket and bring your friends to Taevaskoda!

Come on an overnight canoe trip around Emajõe-Suursoo, which is known for its rich biodiversity. Traveling by canoe along the rivers and lakes of the bog offers a unique natural experience in places that can only be discovered by water. We start the canoe trip in the silence of the early morning, and it ends the next day at lunchtime. You will get to experience what it's like to sleep in a hanging bed (rental available from the organizer) amidst the sounds of nature at night. The trip includes equipment, tour guide service, trip organization, and meals. The trip is suitable for children aged 13 and above.

Discover the city of Tartu on the Emajõgi River on a peaceful boat trip with a beautiful city panorama! The cozy motor ship M/L Maar'a will take you to the Emajõgi River, where you will have a unique view of the green banks, bridges, and the skyline of the Old Town of Tartu. On board, you will find a café, a pleasant sun deck, and an air-conditioned inner deck, which creates a pleasant opportunity to relax and enjoy Tartu from a new angle. Departures take place from the pier next to the Tartu Market Hall according to a schedule. If desired, the ship can also be booked for a private charter trip for your group, accompanied by a guide or musician. Relax on the Emajõgi River!

If you want to relax on the Onion Route by Lake Peipsi, then Mesi Tare is the right place! We offer a special Instagrammable boat tour starting from Mesi Tare in Varnja, where we divide the group into small boats. The guide is the owner of Mesi Tare, who will captain one of the boats himself. In other boats, you can be the boat captain! We will explore Old Believer villages, sail along the shore, and moor in various small canals to visit places on the shore, including Voronja Gallery, Lendav Laev home restaurant, the Samovar House, Peipsimaa Heritage Center, and other places. The barge Jõmmu is a traditional wooden merchant sailing ship, the only one of its kind to have been restored. Step aboard and sail on a historic ship and enjoy the beauty of Emajõe-Peipsi's nature and views of the city of Tartu! Barge trips can be booked for larger groups for seminars, birthdays, or other special events. Smaller groups are welcome on scheduled trips. Coffee and tea are served on the ship, and it is possible to order catering, guide service, a bagpiper, workshops, and an overnight stay on the barge. Set sail on the historic Jõmmu!
