Come enjoy a boat ride on the Emajõe! The riverboat Pegasus offers an opportunity to experience Tartu as a river city, organizing regular trips and charter journeys for up to 75 people, starting next to the Dorpat Hotel. CHECK THE TIMETABLE.The approximate duration of the trip is 1,5 hours. The boat has a café, and Dorpat Catering provides food services for private events. Pegasus was built in 1958 at the Moscow shipyard in Russia and was named Kreutzwald until 1993. In the 20th century, Pegasus conducted multi-day excursion trips (e.g., autumn berry trips) and also regular services, including routes from Tartu to Ihaste, which later became a pleasure trip.

A canoe trip on the Võhandu River in spring definitely requires previous paddling experience, but it certainly offers an adventure. The river is fast-flowing, with rapids and old mill sites (the most famous are Viira, Süvahavva, and Reo Mills) that demand great attention from the paddler. When descending from the mill dams, the person sitting in the front seat may get a bucketful of crisp water over the canoe sides onto their lap. Capsizing is not uncommon at Viira artificial rapids, but we have considered it and made preparations. The trip organizer provides instructions at the beginning of the trip and serves as a guide from the shore at mill dams and bridge locations, where photos of the paddlers are taken. The river is surrounded by sandstone cliffs. In summer, the water flow is calmer, and certain parts of the river may run low on water. The trip can also be planned as a 2-3 day journey, covering the entire Võhandu Marathon route. With the spring high water, it is possible to complete Estonia's longest downstream waterway, approximately 154 km long. We organize the trip for groups starting from 6 members.

The cozy motor ship M/L Maar'a will take you to the Emajõgi River, where you will have a unique view of the green banks, bridges, and the skyline of the Old Town of Tartu. On board, you will find a café, a pleasant sun deck, and an air-conditioned inner deck, which creates a pleasant opportunity to relax and enjoy Tartu from a new angle. Departures take place from the pier next to the Tartu Market Hall according to a schedule. The Hilara is a riverboat with a dignified and active history, which was built in 1975 to offer pleasant experiences for people both in summer and in winter. The passenger ship that was originally sailing in Finland has been used on Lake Peipus and Emajõgi River during the past decades.The boat can accommodate up to 36 passengers, so there is plenty of space in the two passenger cabins and on the bow and sun deck so that everyone could feel truly comfortable.During the trip, you can enjoy the beautiful views on Tartu from the river and listen to the fun stories about life on the river and onboard told by captains Gaute Kivistik and Olaf Suuder.

The adventure on the Kooraste lakes takes place on 11 different bodies of water – lakes Vidrike, Voki, Lambahanna, Nahajärv, Sinikejärv, Lubjaahju, Liinu, Pikkjärv, Vaaba, Hatsike and Kooraste Suurjärv – connected by the narrow, winding Sillaotsa River. A primeval valley, beaver dams, and wild nature are just some of the things you will see and experience on this trip. During spring, there is plenty of water, but in drier seasons, there are some sections where you may have to carry your canoe with you. The lakes are normally warm in summer and perfect for swimming.We welcome families with children and groups of friends and colleagues. We organise trips for both small and large groups.

Anyone interested in horseback riding can try it out in Tamme Tall.We give private lessons and there are three ponies for children waiting in the stable.You can even test your skills by jumping over some obstacles.We organise riding camps for both young and old. You can even spend the night at the Tamme Tall Holiday House. It is possible to swim with horses by Lake Võrtsjärv, ride in the woods, grill, and go to the sauna.
