Two-day canoe and kayak trips on Ahja River

We invite you to visit Agirregoikoa Kennel. We will introduce you to our 20 Nordic sled dogs, all of whom are working Siberian Huskies, and we will talk about the history and present-day conditions of the breed. Our dogs are trained, award-winning sled dogs. We will take the dogs for a walk around the two-hectare orchard. You can pet, hug, take pictures of the dogs, and have a photo session with your favorite dog. Siberian Huskies love people and will be happy to meet you! It is also possible to order a sled ride in addition to the visit.

The 2.2 km hiking trail in Kavadi runs along the banks of Lake Kavadi. The hiking trail begins and ends in New-Salus Park, which has a resting place, campfires with barbecue grilles and a campsite. The trail with the direction of travel winds both along the shore lane and under the forest. Lake Kavadi is considered the most articulated shore-lined lake in Estonia. The surface area of the lake is 27.4 ha. The current size and look have been acquired by the lake some 140 years ago when Baron C. FR. von Maydell, who bought the New-Salus mansion, swelled up three small swamp lakes.

Our captain will take you by the speedboat to the Emajõgi-Suursoo delta at the Peipsiveere Nature Reserve, which has beautiful nature, several rivers and lakesthat are rich in Estonia's different animal species.In addition to the captain, the speedboat can accommodate seven people. You can begin the journey from the River Ahja in Lääniste, or arrange to start from the River Emajõgi in Kavastu village in Luunja county, or another location that suits you. The minimum package includes a one-hour ride.Additional services: boat rental (15 HP engine), SUP board rental, wakeboarding, tubing, fishing.

In the beautiful, historical surroundings of Alatskivi Castle's park in Tartu County, a disc golf course with 10 baskets awaits you, with a total par of 30 and a course length of 1077 meters. The course offers challenges for both beginner players and more experienced enthusiasts, as it is designed to suit players of all ages and skill levels. The park's naturally inspiring atmosphere makes the experience even more special. The disc golf course is open to players around the clock, allowing you to come and play whenever it suits you. Discs can be borrowed free of charge from Alatskivi Castle's reception desk during the castle's opening hours, provided an identity document is presented. Grab the discs, invite your friends, and head to Alatskivi Castle Park. Enjoy a game, nature, and the unique atmosphere of the castle's garden!

These large and comfortable rafts (including a BBQ raft) have 15 hp engines that will take you far. Once you take to the wheel on the River Emajõgi and on the waterways of Peipsiveere (which you will), you will feel as if you are exploring the Amazon! Endless marshlands, the gently winding river, the strange sounds of nature that could be straight out of the jungle, and finally, a warm campsite in the Raft Building.Rafting is perfect for corporate events (summer days) and groups of friends (birthdays). The field of naturally growing daffodils, which is unique in the Baltic states, can be found in the Vara rural municipality. Yellow daffodils are rare in the wild and the daffodil field in Sookalduse is a rarity that has been taken under conservation. The daffodils originate from the bulb that Peep Sibul, the landlord of Sookalduse, got from Saare Manor and planted in his garden in the end of the 19th century.The yellow sea of flowers can be enjoyed from around the middle of April, depending on the spring.

The best-known caves - Sõjatare, Uku, and Väike-Sõjatare - are located in the landscape reserve of the Võhandu River Valley. The caves are situated in sandstone crevices that the springs have caused. The largest of them, Sõjatare, has fallen in and is now a gulch. Two caves have been preserved: Uku (with springs) and Väike-Sõjatare. Uku Cave is located next to the fallen in Sõjatare Cave. Väike-Sõjatare Cave is located 30 m downstream from Uku Cave.According to legend, the mother of the devil used to knit in the cave.Sõjatare, however, is said to be an ancient sanctuary. Behind it, there is a tunnel with an iron door, where two devils come out once a year.

The hiking trail runs along a gravel road in a forest and introduces the life of ants. There are information boards next to the gravel road, as well as signposts near the ant colonies. The trail can also be explored in a vehicle. The 3.6 km trail starts at the information board at the roadside.The hiking trail is located in Padakõrve Nature Reserve. Its most important values include one of the largest populations of Scottish wood ants, diverse forest communities, and a multifaceted landscape. The purpose of the protected area is to protect the Scottish wood ants, as well as other protected species and their habitats, the forest communities, and the Kärgandi kame field.
