The popular Väike-Munamäe Ski Resort, or Munakas, which slopes offer enjoyment for athletes and challenges and possibility to improve one's skills for beginners. Eight slopes, all with various length and descent ensure excitement and security at the same time. There are two hills with T-bar lifts and a hill for children as well. The longest slope is 630 metres. In addition to sporting possibilities there is equipment rental, ski service, restaurant Munaka Resto and various events. Munaka hill tickets are valid on Kuutsemägi hill as well.In summer you can enjoy nature views while riding the chairlift, hurry down the hill on a bike or rent an E-bike. A smoke sauna is a traditional Estonian sauna that doesn't have a chimney. The fire heats the stones, and the smoke fills the surrounding room. After the sauna is heated, the smoke is let out through the door before the sauna-goers enter. At Ööbikuoru Villa's smoke sauna, you can take your time and cleanse your body and soul while enjoying peace and quiet. The sauna steam room can accommodate up to six people, and some visitors can enjoy the hot tub at the same time. If you wish to stay overnight, you can stay in the romantically furnished rooms at Ööbikuoru Villa.
The highest court of the Republic of Estonia, the Estonian Supreme Court that operated in Tartu from 1920 to 1935, is located in this building. The building was initially built as a barracks in 1763, the university hospital was built on its ruins in 1808 and the Estonian Supreme Court has been in the building since 1995. Active holiday lovers can enjoy a volleyball court or rent bicycles.The camp site next to the lake is perfect for camping and parking your caravan. We offer accommodation in the main house and small family houses. It is possible to fish in Lake Peipus in the summer as well as in the winter. During the winter period, we offer safe transport to the lake on snowmobiles if you order in advance.
Come and discover the magic of blind embossing! Create your own embossed artwork in a unique printmaking workshop. Cut an image into a linoleum sheet and see how the play of shadow and light remains on the paper. Blind embossing is a printing technique where a linoleum block is printed without color, leaving only a relief mark on the paper. In the workshop, each participant will make a linoleum block (10x15 cm) according to their own design. We offer accommodation for up to 256 people and we can service events for up to two thousand people with the use of our camping site. We can put up a stage for different events. We have a basketball court with a wooden floor and sand volleyball courts, guests can also use the gym and running tracks. In winter we have 1, 3 and 5 km ski trails and there's an opportunity to organise ski hikes to beautiful places with trails as long as 20 km. We also have a ice rink and you can rent a sauna by the lake, which includes a 50 metre swimming lane. You can also take a boat out on the lake.
