Palojärve camping area is a great place for a forest and beach holiday in a beautiful berry and mushroom pine forest on the shore of Lake Palojärv.There are seven covered campfire sites with benches and tree sheds, a roofed table-bench, a toilet for eight people and a toilet for one person, two wood sheds (it is possible to sleep in one of them), two changing cabins, and a swimming pier in Lake Palojärv.In summer, it is often crowded, but the large parking lot can accommodate 30 cars and the two smaller parking lots can accommodate five cars.

Taevaskoja Salamaa – the best for a holiday! We are located in one of the most beautiful places in Estonia – Taevaskoja, in a 150-year-old coniferous forest, a 15-minute walk from sandstone outcrops. Cottages offer a wonderful opportunity for relaxation. There are four cottages for two on the territory, which can also accommodate an extra bed if necessary. The houses and sanitary facilities are accessible to wheelchair users. Pets are not allowed here. Our territory has everything you need for travelers with a caravan car`s and tent (pets are allowed in this area). In addition, there are barbecue areas, a pond for swimming, saunas, a children's playground, hiking trails and the river boat Lonny.

The Kotkapesa Holiday Centre complex includes a 320 m2 main house and a smaller house with a sauna and two rooms for accommodation. There is a swing and campfire site nearby, as well as several nature tourism attractions (e.g. the primeval valley of the Piusa River with hiking trails and sights, and the recreation area of Lake Kirikumäe).We offer catering upon reservation, and our traditionally prepared smoked meat products can also be ordered from the kotkapesa.ee e-store.If you are looking for a quiet and secluded place to spend your holiday, then you have come to the right place. The camping site has places for 50 caravans. The total area of our caravan site is 2500 m². Every vehicle has access to one power outlet. For our guests there is also a service house with showers, toilets, sinks, washing machine and a stove. We have fresh water supply and toilet emptying options. Reception is open from 8 a.m until 9 p.m. If needed, you may use our telephone and internet. The whole camping site has WiFi. We will organize dinner parties with cultural program if you book it in advance. On request we will take you on a trip to South-Estonia with a guide.

The 2.2 km hiking trail in Kavadi runs along the banks of Lake Kavadi. The hiking trail begins and ends in New-Salus Park, which has a resting place, campfires with barbecue grilles and a campsite. The trail with the direction of travel winds both along the shore lane and under the forest. Lake Kavadi is considered the most articulated shore-lined lake in Estonia. The surface area of the lake is 27.4 ha. The current size and look have been acquired by the lake some 140 years ago when Baron C. FR. von Maydell, who bought the New-Salus mansion, swelled up three small swamp lakes.

South Estonia and Setomaa are definitely worth exploring! A relaxing family holiday, a refreshing getaway with a partner, or a business trip with colleagues — at the renovated Värska Water Center, you can relax, have fun, and organize seminars.The hotel at Värska Water Center offers single and double rooms with all amenities, more spacious family rooms, a room for people with disabilities, and one room suitable for allergy sufferers. Rooms decorated with Seto patterns offer views either of the surrounding pine forest or the water park, and some rooms have skylights. There are also provisions for travelers with pets. On the first floor of the hotel is Näki Café, where healthy cocktails and hearty pub dishes are served. Here, you can also try Värska water with varying salt content, directly from the earth. The hotel also features a gym and a solarium, a seminar room, and a party hall for children. The water center offers visitors swimming pools, plunge pools, a sauna world, and a water bar.

The main exposition of the Lake Museum is live Estonian freshwater fish. Our freshwater fish are not exhibited elsewhere in Estonia in such species quantity.About half of Estonia's freshwater fish live here, including more exotic species, as well as turtles, lake balls, and crayfish.You can visit 2 floor aquariums and 2 large cylindrical aquariums. There are more than 25 different aquariums in total. There is also a collection of fishing gear, an exhibition of primitive fish, and much more!You can book a sauna raft for a pleasure cruise or a sauna session and use a seminar room with a million-dollar view. During summers, a café is open.
