During this workshop exploring the tea culture of the Lake Peipsi region, we will learn about the tea drinking customs of the Old Believers and learn about Ivan Chai (fireweed tea), how it is made, and the role it has played in Peipsiveere villages. The workshop takes place at the Varnja Samovar House, which is located in a traditional Old Believer dwelling. There, you can take a closer look at the use of samovars in households around Lake Peipsi, learn about their history, and enjoy tea with the Old Believers' traditional boiled sugar. Depending on the season, participants can also try making Ivan Chai themselves. In the summer, this is done together with the hostess of Mesi Tare, who guides you through the entire process from picking the plant to drying it. During the autumn-winter period, the focus is on Ivan Chai's history and use, discussing its medicinal properties, traditional tea culture, and tasting a variety of tea flavors. A lighted boat trip on Koorküla's Lake Valgjärv takes you on an evening journey into an underwater world! Koorküla's Lake Valgjärv, with its clear water, mysterious atmosphere, and stunning natural beauty, is the perfect spot for a leisurely boat trip. The trip, starting at dusk, takes you on a boat across the lake, with light strips beneath the boat illuminating the lakebed and creating an enchanting atmosphere. During the trip, you can peek into the underwater world, with good visibility allowing you to see up to 2–3 meters deep. On the journey, you might encounter small and large fish, and, if you're lucky, crayfish and beavers. In the fall, you can see them gathering their winter supplies. The guide takes you to exciting observation spots – to the beaver nests on the opposite shore, over underwater wooden ruins, and into the reeds where fish spend the night. We divide the group into rafts to ensure the light play on the lake is as effective as possible and the experience is as uniform as possible. The tour guides will share exciting stories of nature and introduce other destinations in the vicinity which you can discover when hiking with us.The ice-skating hike on the bog-pools usually takes 2–4 hours. During this time, we will skate for up to 10 km on ice-covered plains, bog-pools, or lakes. You will set the pace of the hike. Everyone who can skate ski in the winter can also skate on bog-pools.Come and discover the biggest bog area of Valga County in the historical Mulgimaa and skate on frozen bog-pools and lakes!

Emajõe-Suursoo, located in the Peipsiveere Nature Reserve, is an exciting and wild place, a labyrinth of rivers and lakes. On the canoe trip, we move through the wetlands, rivers, and lakes, enjoying the peace and quiet. We will look for traces of birds and animals and may even meet them face-to-face. The trip is also suitable for beginners. We can organize the canoe trip at a time that suits you, even at sunrise or sunset. The trip lasts four hours and includes a small picnic on a bog island. On all trips, a guide will ensure the safety of your group.

You are invited to Obinitsa Museum to dress up! The Seto culture workshop "Putting on Seto clothes" is about putting on Seto women's clothes. One member of the company or group will put on the garments. While dressing, the guide will tell you how a Seto woman and man should dress according to tradition, including how to distinguish a married woman from an unmarried girl. The historical context and significance of the objects in Seto culture will also be presented. Come and learn about Seto folk costumes and history!

Located at the Estonian Agricultural Museum in Ülenurme, the MUHK, or the Rural Curiosity Center, is a lively place where visitors of all ages can discover, research, and play. This is where rural life comes to play through engaging education. Located on two floors, the center introduces modern agriculture through practical activities. The “Barn Symphony” exhibition explores topics related to animal welfare, feeding, and husbandry. You can also meet the museum's farm animals and relax in a soothing rabbit village. The exhibition “Manure and Milk” adds to the excitement, where you can also see a rare manure spreader. For the more adventurous, the slightly gut-wrenching veterinary room takes a look at the history of animal treatment. The museum’s treasury, or open storage, also awaits visitors, where fascinating objects from the museum’s collections are on display. The Estonian Rural Museum ticket gives you access to all museums in the complex, including the Rural Curiosity Center.

This canoe trip in South Estonia, on the Võhandu River through a primeval valley, is suitable for anyone looking for untouched nature, adventure, and beautiful views! You do not need previous experience or canoeing skills because the canoes are stable, and the instruction beforehand is thorough. We organize canoe trips along the most attractive sections of the Võhandu River; trips can last from two hours to three days. The river valley is popular with hikers for its unique sandstone outcrops. The canoe trip includes equipment (canoes, paddles, life jackets, waterproof bags), instruction, shore security, and a car transfer to the endpoint.
