Welcome to Metsa Farm – a place where nature and blueberry wine create a special taste experience! We invite you to visit Rooswald Red Winery, where rustic blueberry wines are crafted using our farm's own cultivated blueberries. During the tasting, you can sample wines made at the winery and hear the story of how a lucky coincidence in 2016 sparked a passion for winemaking and eventually led to the establishment of Rooswald Red winery. Every year, we experiment with new recipes and improve existing ones, making each wine unique and unparalleled. The quantities are small and available only at the farm. Metsa Farm is home to one of Estonia's oldest cultivated blueberry plantations. During the visit, we will walk through the plantation, talk about blueberry cultivation, and the birth story of Estonia's first cultivated blueberry variety 'Are', which is named after the first name of the owner of Metsa Farm. Unique Rooswald Red blueberry wines from dry to semi-sweet and blueberry seedlings can be purchased at the farm. We look forward to your visit!

Terra is a restaurant in Tartu with seasonal cuisine and good wine, located in the historic Era Villa building. Our kitchen is based on fresh ingredients, clear flavors, and seasonality — the menu changes according to what is best at the moment. Terra does not aim to be too complicated, but precise: good ingredients, thoughtful techniques, and a plate with a purpose. Wine holds an important place at Terra. Our wine list brings together small producers, grower champagnes, exciting European wine regions, and characterful wines that are often not found on large lists. If desired, we help choose wine to accompany the food or offer a paired wine package. Terra is suitable for a peaceful dinner, special celebrations, and smaller private events. The Chef's hall, located on the upper floor, allows for the organization of private set-menu dinners and wine evenings for smaller groups. The Wood Shop’s breadmaster will guide you through the process of the perfect bread dough, and show you all the good ingredients and the secret components to a well risen dough and delicious taste. In the end of the workshop the Bread Room is full of irritatingly good bread baking fragrance. And of course no one is leaving without tasting the outcome of this exciting workshop and you can also take the leaven to go, to keep up the new learned skill of breadmaking. And if later there’s a need for a bread basket, Avinurme Wood-Shop can offer exactly what you need.
