Cabins for hikers, an observation tower and a boardwalk attract many nature lovers to the Meenikunno bog. It is a beautiful recreation area. While walking down the boardwalk, you can see the most common bog plants: leather leaf, bog rosemary, crowberry, Marsh Labrador tea, and tussock cottongrass; at the edge of the bog, dwarf birches can also be found. There are also a number of different species of peat moss of various colours. The bravest hikers can try drinking bog water (it has an interesting taste!) from the overgrown ditch near the edge of the bog.Good to know: The boardwalk is pram and wheelchair accessible.

The campsites and camping area of ​​the Tartu County Health and Sports Centre offer an idyllic holiday among Elva's beautiful pine forests. Our cozy 4-person cabins, 6-person cottages, and spacious camping area are perfect for families, friends, hikers, or for organizing camps. Public showers and toilets are located in the main building, where you can also enjoy breakfast with a reservation. There is a barbecue area for relaxation, and for active recreation, there is archery, shooting ranges, disc golf, hiking trails, and fat bike rental. SETO MAN Recreation Centre is located in the heart of Värska. We have a quiet and private location and secure grounds. For accommodation we offer 2, 3 and 4 person rooms and camping houses with various levels of comfort as well as a campsite and a caravan park for up to 50 people. There are many ways to spend your free time - you can play beach volleyball, swim at the beach, row a boat, hike, and take a ride on a ferry named Maara.In addition to accommodation the recreation centre also has a café that seats 60 people. From here you will find amazing opportunities for organising get-togethers, corporate summer and winter events, seminars, camps, Christmas shindigs and other events.

The Soontaga hiking trail is located at Kiidjärve-Kooraste recreation area. The hiking trail runs along the typical Southern Estonian mixed forests and arrives at the Väike-Emajõgi river. The hiking trail, which can be completed on foot, runs in a circle.There are several information boards at the hiking trail, which describe the nature of the area. The beautiful bodies of water at the hiking trail are equipped with bridges. In addition to the hiking trail there is the Soontaga campsite with campfire places at the recreation area.If you visit the hiking trail during the season, you might find forest berries or mushrooms on our journey.

Maarjamäe House is cosy place for families and smaller companies. You are welcome to use the sauna or have barbeque in the fireplace. A fence surrounds the house, so kids don’t have access to the pond or road.

The Pikksaare hiking trail begins at the swimming and camping area by Lake Pangodi. While walking along the hiking trail, you can enjoy peace and idyllic views of the lake and the surrounding nature and make a short detour to the War of Independence Memorial. The directional signs placed along the trail will help make the hike smoother. The hiking trail passes the Pangodi campfire site, where you can take a short break, as there is a shelter, a barbecue area, a nice swimming spot, and opportunities for camping. Come and spend a nice day in nature with your family or friends!

Kiviranna Holiday Village, on the shores of Lake Võrtsjärv, is ideal for families, friends, and nature lovers. Kiviranna offers accommodation in a holiday house and a guest apartment. We also offer camping and special caravan sites for hikers. The holiday village also offers sauna lovers the opportunity to use an igloo sauna or a hot tub. From March to June, the café offers delicious smoked fish. Catering for groups can also be ordered. As an additional service, ordering a guided bog hike or a sailing trip on the lake is possible. Kaldemäe Hostel is located between the hills and slopes of beautiful Haanjamaa and it is an ideal place if you wish to have an active holiday in nature, breathe clean air and be away from city noise. The territory of Kaldemäe Farm is large and wide; there is a big pond in front of the sauna where you can enjoy water delights, and a village-style swing for children.There's also a fireplace hall that seats 40 people, that is a perfect place for birthdays and smaller parties. The sights and leisure time possibilities of Haanjamaa are only one and a half kilometres from Kaldemäe Farm: you can go for a hike on Mountain Suur Munamägi or find an activity at the Haanja Holiday and Sports Centre.
