We will observe beavers on the Emajõgi River. The canoe trip is for small groups and includes an experienced guide who instructs on both the canoeing and beaver-watching.There are a lot of brave beavers on the Emajõgi River. If you act correctly, you can see them from very close up.The trip does not require any special ability or canoeing experience, which means it is also suitable for beginners. We have stable wide-bottomed hiking canoes that are very safe. Besides, the Emajõgi River is a calm river with no waterfalls or other obstacles in the way.

During this workshop exploring the tea culture of the Lake Peipsi region, we will learn about the tea drinking customs of the Old Believers and learn about Ivan Chai (fireweed tea), how it is made, and the role it has played in Peipsiveere villages. The workshop takes place at the Varnja Samovar House, which is located in a traditional Old Believer dwelling. There, you can take a closer look at the use of samovars in households around Lake Peipsi, learn about their history, and enjoy tea with the Old Believers' traditional boiled sugar. Depending on the season, participants can also try making Ivan Chai themselves. In the summer, this is done together with the hostess of Mesi Tare, who guides you through the entire process from picking the plant to drying it. During the autumn-winter period, the focus is on Ivan Chai's history and use, discussing its medicinal properties, traditional tea culture, and tasting a variety of tea flavors. Käbliku Brewery is a small craft beer producer located in the forests of South Estonia, at Käbliku Farm in Põlva County. Services you can order include: Brewery tour and beer-making introduction Tasting Beer Barrel sauna The tour and introduction to beer-making lasts about 15-20 minutes. We will show you all the main parts of the brewery and explain why they are needed, and how they are used. Tasting gives you the opportunity to try our different beers. The standard package includes tasting 10 different beers and lasts about 1 hour. We have various types of beer, and you will see how much craft beer can differ from mass-produced beer. We talk about the characteristics and the history of the style of beer being sampled. Beer can be purchased in cans or by the case. In the barrel sauna, you can relax in the hot water generated during the beer brewing process and sip cold Käbliku beer. Come and experience Estonia's vast natural landscapes in a primal way — by dogsled! Karusaare dogsled trips in Tartu County offer unforgettable experiences throughout the year in the forest landscape of Järvselja and the Peipsiveere Nature Reserve in Emajõe-Suursoo. From autumn to spring, we move on off-road carts and, in winter, when there is enough snow, on traditional sleds. You can choose a shorter trip or a longer journey. It is an appropriate activity for the whole family, including children over the age of 3. The hike begins and ends at the sled dog training center, where the instructor shares the necessary safety and driving instructions. On our journey, we take short breaks to water the dogs, and on longer journeys, we stop by the fire to enjoy a bit of heat, light, and warm food. If you wish, you can also order catering to make your trip even more memorable. Trips only take place when the air temperature is below +12 °C and there is no storm warning or wind gusting above 15 m/s.
