Public showers and toilets are located in the main building, where you can also enjoy breakfast with a reservation. There is a barbecue area for relaxation, and for active recreation, there is archery, shooting ranges, disc golf, hiking trails, and fat bike rental. The unique Gardest Home and Garden Centre, which is the largest garden centre in the Baltics, offers a wide range of outdoor and indoor plants, seasonal plants, tools, interior products, pet products, and gourmet goods. During the summer season, we also offer outdoor furniture and barbecues. During the winter period, the centre turns into a beautiful winter wonderland.Here, you will also find the Muru restaurant, which offers a healthy menu and daily specials. It is convenient to come to the Gardest by car – we have a spacious free parking lot, bicycle, or public transport – there is a bus stop right in front of the centre.Come with your family – pets are also welcome with us!

The Murimäe Wine Cellar in Valga County also offers its guests a cosy and exclusive guest apartment with all the comforts and a sauna where you can wake up to a beautiful view of the South Estonian hill country! The Murimäe Wine Cellar Guest Apartment is ideal for families and smaller groups, as well as for those who appreciate privacy and being close to nature. For an additional fee, it is possible to order a private wine tasting with snacks.

The main exposition of the Lake Museum is live Estonian freshwater fish. Our freshwater fish are not exhibited elsewhere in Estonia in such species quantity.About half of Estonia's freshwater fish live here, including more exotic species, as well as turtles, lake balls, and crayfish.You can visit 2 floor aquariums and 2 large cylindrical aquariums. There are more than 25 different aquariums in total. There is also a collection of fishing gear, an exhibition of primitive fish, and much more!You can book a sauna raft for a pleasure cruise or a sauna session and use a seminar room with a million-dollar view. During summers, a café is open.

Humal Bistro is a diner in central Tartu inspired by French food culture. The ruins of Helme Order Castle are situated on a steep slope by the Pärnu-Valga road. The castle is thought to have been built in the first half of the 14th century. Parts of its walls with their distinctive window openings remain standing today. Legend has it that a young virgin was entombed within its walls in order to further strengthen it - whether there is any truth to the story is up to visitors to decide! Over the centuries the castle has been governed by Germans, Russians, Lithuanians and finally Swedes - who destroyed it in 1658.Did you know...?*In the valley below the castle is the Doctor's Spring, whose waters are said to cure seven different ailments.

Maarjamäe House is cosy place for families and smaller companies. You are welcome to use the sauna or have barbeque in the fireplace. A fence surrounds the house, so kids don’t have access to the pond or road.

The interactive exhibition at Alatskivi Castle's horse stable provides a good overview of manor life. The central part of the exhibition is a drawing of the Alatskivi Manor estate grounds, which explains the management and living environment of the entire complex. You will learn what role purebred dog breeding played in the manor, how forestry was managed, how much income Alatskivi Manor earned, and where the money came from to build the fairytale castle. The play corner with a beautiful replica of the castle and dolls will delight the youngest visitors. The horse stable is perfect for organizing concerts and events!
