KGB Cells Museum

The KGB Cells Museum, known as the "Grey House", is a historical museum in Tartu, where the NKVD/KGB was located in the 1940s and 1950s. The basement of the building, where the cells were located, is open to visitors. Several cells, the punishment cells, and the basement corridor have been restored to their historical form. The prison cells are filled with an exhibition that provides an overview of Estonia's post-war struggle for freedom and the crimes of the communist regime. Here you can see photographs and objects from Siberian prison camps, as well as materials on the history of the Forest Brotherhood and secret resistance organizations. Humala Kalabaas tent boat rental

The stable Latrex 450 with a trimaran base has been transformed into a floating motorised tent with the help of a canopy tent, a platform between the seats and seat covers. It is nice to sail with the boat just for fun, catch fish, and spend the night on the water as if you were in a tent.The nearby Emajõe Suursoo is a large network of waterways that fascinates with its wildness, size, picturesque views, swamp inhabitants, abundance of fish, and isolation.With the "Tent boat" it is possible to comfortably camp on water at Suursoo without the need to access RMK campsites. A large mosquito net surrounds the bed of the boat and the tent protects against natural phenomena. Suitable for couples to be alone in nature.

Selgise cycling trail and Kärgandi campfire site

The length and terrain of the trail make it suitable for moderate training or leisurely enjoying the nature. The trail with its ups and downs runs along winding forest paths and straight forest rides, passing through different forest communities.The trail is 30 km long. It starts and ends at the Kukemetsa forest hut. The trail is marked with signs and runs along forest roads to the north.The best recreation sites along the trail are the forests, Selgise hills, Kukemetsa forest hut, which is approximately 500 m off the trail, and Kärgandi campfire site. The trail was built by the State Forest Management Centre.

Tähtvere Sport Park winter sports trails

During the winter season, Tähtvere Sport Park offers a variety of winter activities and the famous Tähtvere ski trails, suitable for both amateurs and more athletic visitors. The recreational park features ski trails with artificial snow, totaling approximately 4 kilometers, allowing skiing even when natural snow is scarce. When natural snow is available, additional ski trails open in the dendropark, totaling about 5 kilometers, and a trail along the Emajõgi River, approximately 2.5 kilometers long. At the heart of the park is the Tartu Song Festival Grounds, where an ice rink is opened under the arch in suitable weather conditions. A sledding hill, sports fields, and playgrounds are also nearby. In the same area, it is possible to rent skates and skis according to the season. Note: In rainy weather and when temperatures are above zero, the ice rink and rental services are closed. Tähtvere Sport Park is an ideal place to enjoy winter, be active, and spend quality time in the fresh air.

Raft rental on River Emajõgi

These large and comfortable rafts (including a BBQ raft) have 15 hp engines that will take you far. Once you take to the wheel on the River Emajõgi and on the waterways of Peipsiveere (which you will), you will feel as if you are exploring the Amazon! Endless marshlands, the gently winding river, the strange sounds of nature that could be straight out of the jungle, and finally, a warm campsite in the Raft Building.Rafting is perfect for corporate events (summer days) and groups of friends (birthdays). Fishing trips on the River Võhandu and Lake Peipus

We will be fishing on the River Võhandu, the western shore of Lake Lämmijärv or on Lake Peipus around Piirissaare. The fishing trips on a four-seater motorboat take place with an experienced boat captain and a fisherman. We will take along safety equipment.The prices start from 100 euros per day.You should take along your own fishing equipment, but we can also rent it for an extra fee. If you want to fish on your own, we can rent fishing rods and four-seater boats with safety equipment.
